The hotel is quaint and located near the cathedral. It does not have a restaurant but it does serve breakfast. Staff is friendly. We stayed at superior places during our trip and this hotel is not of the same quality. We are only staying two nights and then we return to California. Ok for two days on our way home.

This was a nicely appointed and charming hotel. It was very convenient to many sites. The Hotel was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was attentive and very helpful. The hotel has lovely suites with two bedrooms and a sitting room. Bathroom was extremely roomy. Would definitely use them again.

This hotel is fairly local with easy access to the Duomo and we took the 94 bus to view The Last Supper. A little noisy on the street side, however the rooms are extremely large as it is a boutique style hotel with only about 20 rooms. reasonable price and the accommodations were very classy. The staff was extremely helpful...

I fell in love with this beautiful small charming hotel as soon as I walked in the reception. The rooms are beautifully made up in a French decor and very well appointed with a lot of attention to detail. The rooms are very clean with crisp linen. The staff were all very polite and accommodating. The breakfast was very Italian...

You can Heart the traffic and the Tram alle the night ( Even in a Junior Suite in the 3rd floor!) Air condition was broken. We booked explizitely with a dog - and had a long and unfriendly discussion regarding the pet when we arrived. Nice furnitured room in old fashioned style - but really loud.

Dear Sir, thank you for your review. All views from our guest are welcomed! Unfortunately one of your notes is not depending from us: in October the municipality doesn't allow air condition. About your dog, our hotel allows only small dogs. We have already written to your booking system to clarify this point.

Staying at the Petit Palais is like being at home. The staff are so helpful and helpful, always with a smile. Our suite was perfect and the quality of the amenities, linens, etc was super. The location is just 10 minutes walking from the Duomo, so it's far away enough from the tourists and noise. Looking forward to going back!

Alessia was very professional and helpful. I recommend a grab bar in the bath for showering since our room did not have a separate shower. With climbing in and out of the tub, a slip could be dangerous.

We had high expectations of this hotel. However, we were so disappointed that we checked out an hour after arriving, not a decision taken lightly as it cost us £300 as we had prepaid for the night. Superficially it looked good and there are great write ups on tripadvisor. However, a disinterested individual at reception did not help our arrival....

Very nice and unusual small hotel reasonably convenient for centre of Milan with all necessary comforts and good staff. A little on the expensive side but on the whole a good experience with no complaints.

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
