The hotel is in a great location near stazione centrale and lima metro station. It is a clean hotel but was too expensive for what it offers. There was no elevator and the breakfast was poor. The hotel offers free wifi.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It is only two stars, and it looks small from the outside, but the inside is SO well-kept and beautiful. Management is crazy nice -- from the moment we walked in, he helped us with directions/gave us a map, and, when checking out earlier than when breakfast was served, he allowed...

Stayed there for 2 nights. Location : Located within walking distance to Milano Centrale Station (10-15mins) and Lima Metro Station (5-10mins). Has a Carrfour Express two blocks away. Several fast food joint around and a Burger King near to Lima station. Noise level from the street is acceptable for us as we closed the windows all the time. Choose a...

We are just back from milan and stayed in this hotel. Five min walk from the central station and five mins other direction to corso buenos aires the main shopping street that has some lovely restaurants and bars. Small supermarket and bakery up the street from hotel which was handy. Our triple room was very clean, with aircon and I was...

I stay there for three nights. Room is clean but the air con is not working at all. And it is quite noisy outside, it will definitely disturb you if you are a light sleeper. NEVER left anything expensive in the room, my headphone was stolen by the cleaning staff there, just lock them in the locker! And the personal...

We stayed here for one night before continuing our journey home. Unfortunately the furniture exhibition was ongoing in Milan so the prices of hotel rooms were sky high. We ended up paying a lot more than its real value for the room. The room was quite dark and small. It was situated on the ground floor which meant a lot...

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location of the hotel is very good, Milano centrale station was just at 5 mins walk. The receptionist didn't understand much English but was very nice and polite. You have to leave the keys at the reception when you leave the room, keys are one of those old-fashioned big bell ones. The rooms...

The staff was really nnice.the rooms were clean. The walls are a little to thin. You can hear everything from the other side of the wall.. even snoring. But if you are going for shopping and spending most of your time out then its perfect. Its 5min walk from corsa buenos aires. A few stops with metro from duomo. Maybe...

Hotel Salerno locates with in walking distance (with luggages) from Central Station, so it´s good if thinking of going to (or coming from) Milan Malpensa or by train somewhere. Rooms were clean and good enough for staying day or two. Staff was friendly and willing to help. Breakfast is served in a simple and small but rather nice "backyard garden"....

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
