As a solo traveler arriving in Milan, 'Bed & Bread' was the perfect place to stay. The B'n'B is located in a very safe, pretty area of Milan not far from the centre. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and, most importantly, the host Donata is extremely kind, welcoming and helpful. She prepares a fantastic breakfast with fruit, cereals,...

Donata, the lovely landlady of 'Bed & Bread' could not have been more welcoming to our daughter (who was arriving to work in the city but had no accommodation organised). Not only did Donata offer fantastic B&B, she made every effort to help with the search for an apartment and navigation around the City. We are very grateful that she...

A home away from home, with a delicious breakfast comprising home-made jams, fresh fruit, freshly-baked bread, an assortment of cheeses and other goodies to get the day started. My room overlooked the lush, heavenly back gardens of the many neighbouring apartments, a well-kept secret in the heart of Milan. Donata was a generous and delightfully friendly hostess. Overall, a lovely...

This is a very welcoming, cosy place in Milan where you can immediately feel at home in a foreign city. The breakfast with all the self made food is excellent. The rooms are nice and clean and well furnished.

We spent three wonderful days at Donata's comfortable and welcoming B&B. We were a family of 6 and took all her 3 rooms. Comfy beds, easy to relax with a glass of wine in the main room near her kitchen. Felt very much at home. And she helped us when we needed a place again for only one night and...

Lovely, clean rooms topped off with a brilliant selection of bread, cheese and good coffee in the mornings. Donata was extremely helpful providing a map with directions. She even assisted with getting us onto the Milano public bike system. It is not in the city centre, though I believe this a good thing. Try Ristorante Pizzeria Sant'Ambrogio for good no...

A clean, comfortable and classy residence. Pretty well situated to main shopping districts of Duomo and Brera. Personalized and informative, our stay over busy fair time was extremely pleasant. No frills, this is not a hotel, this is exactly what the name says- a bed and breakfast bread (delicious I might add). But this was perfect for a quick adventure...

Very comfortable beds, clean bedding and bathrooms. The breakfasts had a good selection of breads (nut bread was our favourite), cheeses and yogurts. Donata, our host was extremely kind and helpful. We paid a very good price, especially compared to all the overpriced hotels in Milan. We only had to compromise on being a little further away from the centre,...

I recently went to a conference in Milan, and in trying to book a stay in the hotel, found that it was full. Trip Advisor came to the rescue and found this lovely B&B only a few blocks away. I am not ordinarily a B&B visitor, but the reviews were good, so I gave Bed and Bread a try. Was...

I moved out of my hotel into this B&B. This was the best decision. The rooms were quiet and very comfortable. The B&B is incredibly clean. Mrs Donata goes out of her way to make you feel special. She even went searching for something I wanted for my daughter. She is a wonderful host. The breakfast is all home made...
