positives: very near the train station just a 5 minute walk; friendly and helpful staff which prepared breakfast for us before our very early checkout and they would do their best to assist you with your enquiries; room was a bit small but very clean; free wifi, free breakfast negatives: no fridge in the room, no elevators, centralised heating/aircon (you...

Location - so close to the railway station was fantastic! But also within an easy walk of the attractions i.e. shopping, Duomo, etc. Despite the size of the hotel the room was huge and comfortable and despite the fact our outlook was of the back of buildings this was irrelevant because of the other pluses and we weren't there for...

The good: the hotel seems recently renovated and it's clean. It's quiet and in a great location if you travel by train. But… 1. As I arrived they made me sign the credit card receipt. As I asked for the corresponding bill they claimed they cannot do it until check-out 2. I was told breakfast starts from 8 AM! As...

The location of the hotel is perfect. Just few minutes' walking distance from the train station. The hotel staffs are very passionate and nice. The hotel room is decorated in a modern style. We are impressed by its cleanliness and tidiness. It is beyond our expectation that free wi-fi is provided throughout our stay. Excellence!

Location, location, location to the Stazione Centrale (SC). Helpful staff, clean room with en suite. Ask for non-street side room otherwise it is too noisy until 10-11PM. Average sleep quality due to location of the room. Provided continental breakfast early so I could have something before going to the SC for my train. No A/C due to seasonal change. Staff...

First of all we were checked in by the most delightful young man, Ali. He offered any assistance we needed and made many helpful suggestions about Milan and the area. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom as well. Room was bright with many windows, although not with views; what would you expect for this reasonable price. No...

In short, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff could not have been better. They would go to any lengths to accommodate their guests - with gladness. The hotel was very clean. Now, for the problems: You have to walk up a flight of stairs with luggage to get to the single floor with all the rooms. The walls are...

We went to Milan for the formula one at Monza, and we enjoyed Stazione. Its near to the central station and its a clean hotel with nice staff. There is a small breakfastarea but You will get freshly made espresso served to the table. We have been here for 3 years now at the same hotel, and we think its...

Lovely, small hotel, ever so close to the Central Station and just 5 - 10 minutes walk from restaurants. Just a handful of rooms, and ever so cute breakfast area and staff that can't do enough for you. It is rated as two stars but for location, cleanliness and friendliness, deserves more.

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
