The hotel is ideally situated for metro as well as walking distance to the Politecnico. It looks clean and tidy. On arrival (late) the bar was closed and after a few shrugs the receptionist told us there is a minibar in my room. Excited I went to my room key didn't work came down and it was weird that the...

The only thing that is for 4 stars in this hotel is the lobby, the restaurant and their staff. We stayed there for one night. When you come to the hotel everything looks really nice and on a high level. The staff is nice and compliant. The lobby looks so nice as well as the restaurant. The food is not...

Stayed here for 3 nights with family. I have seen better 4 star hotels. Breakfast was ok nothing special. This is a tipical hotel where the 4 stars comes from having all the things in theory to be allowed to have 4 stars. Lobby is nice and new. The rooms are not. Probably next time I would look for an...

Asked for quiet room, was allocated tiny place next to a lift. Asked to change room, given a very noisy one in front of hotel not in the main part and not very polite front desk service. At the third time of asking was actually given a standard double room which turned out OK - quiet if a little small....

I stayed here on April 2nd 2017 and was very pleased with my stay. I used to live in the neighborhood and knew the hotel was there but never used it for any of my guests. Looks like it's been redecorated and updated. I booked a single room which was comfortbale. The only pet peeve was the shower which didn't...

I went to Milano for a two day trip - and decided to stay in this hotel due to good reviews on Booking. One of the main reasons I decided for this hotel was the seemingly good price/value and the good breakfast. - When I arrived I was not greeted nicely, not given a feeling of hospitality, it was just...

This is a nice hotel, yet very affordable off-season. The bed was nice and firm. All sorts of delicious pastries for breakfast. The only downside I can think of is the very noisy drain when people upstairs use their shower or toilet.

We had a pre-paid booking at Hotel Lombardia in Sep-16. One week before our arrival we received an email saying they could no longer accommodate us. Instead they moved us to a another hotel which was far from suitable - the rooms were much smaller and the location far less convenient. They refused to offer any compensation. The response we...

Very nice hotel close to downtown. People are very kind. Rooms clean and cozy. Continental breakfast with fresh food and just baked cakes and croissants. The price is appropriate to the hotel and with a extra charge you will have garage as well. However is easy to find park outside the hotel. In that Milan area is free park after...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Lombardia Milano boasts over 40 years of extensive experience in the hospitality field in Milan. Its recent restructuring and the change in ownership have brought the hotel back to its original splendor. Our fine services have remained the same but they've been streamlined so as to adapt them to modern needs. For example, our cuisine has been modified and now offers a faster service but it is also tailored to the customer's needs. The hotel's location, which is close to Piazzale Loreto, Corso Buenos Aires and not far from the Citta Studi and its prestigious Politecnico di Milano, the National Cancer Institute and the Besta Neurological Hospital, can be considered as a sort of stronghold of hospitality right in the Milan city center. The Hotel Lombardia rooms are quite spacious and are very luminous and well cared for. They all overlook the inside of the building: they're very quiet and offer a peaceful view over the garden There are one or two room apartments that can accommodate 2 to 5 people. All apartments overlook the building's inner garden. The hotel has a small Conference Center with 4 conference rooms that can facilitate between 10 and 100 people and are enhanced with natural light. The event installation can be modulated and the rooms are equipped with a video projector, sound system, (Wi-Fi) internet connection and speaking lecterns on demand. ... more   less
