I wonder where this hostel gets its name from. Everything about it is decidely "un-screamly". That isn't a negative. It's just that the hostel's name can be a misnomer if you read too much into it. As always, full marks for location and access. Located on the Viale Monza (a main road) about 250 metres from the nearest subway station...

First thing I did when I arrived was to have an argument with owner's daughter. They were both smoking in the reception which is the corridor of that flat that they made a "hostel". When I said they can't smoke there she got upset and rude saying they cant leave the reception alone and neighbours complain if they and travellers...

The hostel was difficult to find, with it being in a residential building and had no signs saying it was there. You had to ring the bell to get in but apart from checking what room you were in or if you had a reservation they did not have any security into the building. One of the staff was much...

The hostel owner is pleasant enough and for what it was, accommodation was indeed very basic with quite limited facilities. We were here in peak season and it was basically an overnight stopover. Convenient, about a $10 E can ride from the train station but easy to get to by underground

I never have written a recommandation about a Hostel, but in this case I want to write something. I had a reservation in the Scream House. Just from the beginning on the woman on the reception was very rude and unfriendly. When we talked about my way, which I made to achieve the hostel, she treated me in such a...

It could be good place just the staff is horrible. One lady all the time as receptionist checking us in laying on the bed and being rude to me and my friend !!! The atmosphere more like in some prison not hostel. Never again.

This hostel is the cheapest one in Milan ,it is near the sub station and is clean ,but there is a crazy woman which take care of the place and we had problems with her to make the check in, so if you want something cheaper but maybe have problems,go there.

It was the best price we found. Not the best neighborhood but near the metro. The house is really good. Rooms are decent although not enough bathrooms. For the price i don't think you can find much better. The staff are really pleasant and helpful.

Good location close to the central station, and next to the metro stop. Dorm rooms are ok, bathrooms and kitchens in quite good condition. Met nice people there. The staff - it's true, the lady treats guests like they came to her house and not hostel, but she can be nice. Don't expect any flexibility though. Mind about the price...

This hostel is central, it has a shared kitchen, several bathrooms and you have the option to wash your clothes. I enjoyed the stay, even though the name freaked me out at first. Staff was not super friendly, wi-fi wasn't super good, but whatever because on the othet hand - it was super CHEAP

Staying in Bicocca

Neighbourhood Profile
Bicocca
Although Bicocca is a peripheral district, many visitors will find it appealing. The district is enveloped by the immense Parco Nord (North Park), one of the largest parks in Europe. Inside is the theater Arcimboldi, one of the most important contemporary theaters where concerts and shows are organized. In the same area, there is the University of Milan Bicocca, whose distinct architecture rivals a movie set. Coffee shops, a multiplex and a shopping center are in the campus, along with the Fondazione Hangar Bicocca, one of the most famous museums of Contemporary Art.
