The hotel wasn't bad value for what we actually paid through our booking on Late Rooms, however, had we paid full price I would have been very dissapointed. The room we had was satisfactory, but nothing special and the shower block was tiny and made it difficult to wash my hair as I couldn't easily lift my arms! All in...

My wife and i stayed here for 2 nights on a city brealk at the end of July.If you are only in Milan for a couple of days this place is ideal as its right in the centre where the airport shuttle bus drops you off,if you are abit fussy then book somewhere else as its abit rough around the...

I stayed there in December 2011 with my mother, my brother and my niece. I, my mother and my niece stayed in a triple room and my brother stayed in a single room. The rooms and the bathrooms had a good size. The only problem was that we asked for non smoking rooms and the triple room had a strong...

I stayed in this hotel for one night and it was the most terrible experience ever. Since the moment we arrive the front desk rep. was rude. I stayed on the second floor and the whole floor had such a bad odor it literally smelled like "dirty toilet" I guess due to the fact that there are no windows in...

Stayed there one night as a stop-over on a trip to Cinque Terre. The hotel is very close to the central station and here lies its main advantage. Our room was clean but quite oldish. The air conditioning didn't work and the night was very noisy because of the wind going through the scaffolding that was were for construction work....

It's a little more inconvenient as it is located further away from the airport shuttle drop off, compounded by some construction work going on outside the entrance of the train station, making a detour of some 10 minutes necessary. Room is fairly clean & of a good size. Although wifi is free for the first 2 hours only, connection is...

Older hotel undergoing renovation but construction not intrusive. Upside – handy to central train station and local metro system. Staff very friendly, helpful and excellent with directions and suggestions. Small room with large king bed. Clean room with no bed bugs. Adequate mini bar that doubled as small fridge. Many places to eat within walking distance as well as friendly...

As we were on interrail while staying here, the location was perfect only three min walk from the railwaystation. The hotell it self was poor. The first room we got had a really strong smell of sigarette smoke (we booked a non-smokinh room). It was ok for the staff to change the room even though they said all the rooms...

It is located farther away from the bus stop where the airport shuttle drops off. It is also away from the main cluster of hotels around the train station. So relatively less convenient than the others located across from the bus stop. To make matters worse, there is a huge construction around the park in front of the train station....

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
