Great location, but.......high price, no a/c in very warm March. Hot room because it is "still winter" so no a/c until April. Rooms could stand an update. Won't be choosing this one on next trip to Milano.

This place is fine for a business trip. Handy for the metro, quick for Linate airport. Staff efficient. Like most business hotels the restaurant food was fine, restaurant atmosphere desperate. I would have eaten out but it was lashing down with rain so ate on site. Breakfast is ok but avoid the filter coffee, ghastly. Espresso or cappuccino what you'd...

The hotel is near Piazza Duomo and has a metro station just outside. The rooms are big and clean, the bathroom excellent. Breakfast is quite good. The price is a little bit expensive. A very good choise in Milan.

After reading so many positive reviews of this place, I can only assume that a lot of Tripadvisors reviewers are tremendously nice people or very easily impressed. The stay in this hotel went to hell at check in, first off they got me confused with another person with the same uncommon name as me who was 25 yrs older. The...

I loved this hotel due to its proximity in the centre of the city & to the fact that it offered a beautiful breakfast. The rooms were very spacey and the staff really friendly.

This was a great hotel for location and the room we had was large and modern. You may see some different takes on it though because the higher floors are re-furbished and the lower ones look very olde worlde (read musty). The breakfast was good and so was the service. So nice to get the good room for a change!...

The hotel is located in a quite corner, very close to the Metro station and only 5 min walk to Duomo. The room is quite small, but clean and comfortable. The hotel provided 1-hour free internet on top of quite a substantial charge for internet usage. For Milan, this hotel is a compromise of location, quality and price.

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
