A very smart, central hotel. Great staff, very helpful and polite. The breakfast is one of the best I have ever experienced, very eclectic and fresh. Fantastic bar area on the 10th floor. Perfect location for exploring the centre of Milan around the Duomo and shops but also we found excellent local bars and restaurants close by. The main drawback...

Lovely hotel, 3 minutes from the Catherdral/very centre of Milan. Metro and multiple tram lines to hand, as well as taxis and 10 minutes walk to 73 bus to/from Linate airport. Excellent quality, service and variety at breakfast including delicious panettone 'bacon'. Very clean throughout with comfy rooms - you can open windows for fresh air! We had double sinks...

Close to Domo and walking distance to most of central Milan. Rooms are small but clean, and breakfast has a nice selection. Limited amenities but worth the price for its location. Try to book on the upper floors as lower ones can be noisy

This hotel is in a great location just a short walk from the Duomo and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle. The rooms were very clean and spacious and staff friendly and attentive (had a minor issue with the room safe and a staff member responded immediately). Breakfast was very good. Our room had a view over the road junction in front...

If you want to relax, don't stay at this hotel! Rooms are very close and it seems that walls are so thin that you can hear all neighbors. And to get worse . In addition there are a lot of trains, bonds passing in front of the hotel. Terrible. I could hear my neighbor's snoring. The location is good, near...

It is in the middle of the attractions centre. Walking distance to Duomo Square, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Opera at Teatro all Scala and Castello Sforzesco. Hotel is clean and nice view from our room. There were 3 of us, my hubby ,myself and our teenage son and were given a connecting room.

Stayed at hotel twice just before the Christmas Holidays. Hotel was neat, clean and in a great location. The staff at reception and throughout the hotel were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet had a very good variety. Right next to a metro. 2 women traveling and shopping in Italy. We felt very safe at the hotel and walking in...

When next we return to Milan we will definitely be staying here again. A special thank you to Sylvia who helped with our booking before we left Australia. We found the rooms extremely comfortable with adjustable heating and appreciated having a nespresso coffee machine in the room.

Wow it had been over 15 years since I stayed at this property before my return in December 2016 and two recent stays. Back then the CAVALIERI was a business hotel with a certain élan and chic to it that was difficult to decipher yet palpable. I ended up going elsewhere due to a steady hike in prices when price...

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
