We booked this hotel after reading the other reviews. Firstly getting to the hotel was dificult as we followed the directions from the hotel web page, but we found out they were out of date. We tried to catch a trolley bus and was wanting the 33 as mentioned on the hotel web page. it is now the 19 or...

Although a little out of the centre, the hotel was easy accessible by public transport No's 14 & 19 from the Duomo. There is a fantastic shopping centre across the road which houses a supermarket, with almost everything on offer, including a wine bar which is located at the back of the store selling Corvo at €1.80 a glass it...

Myself and my husband had a fantastic stay at this hotel. We chose to stay a little out of the centre of Milan due to cost and we were pleased we found this one. It is a 5-10min ride by tram into Milan centre and the stop is directly opposite the hotel which was very convenient. You can buy your...

We stayed at the Accademia for 3 nights in April for our son's 18th birthday. The hotel is approx. a 15 euro taxi ride from the Central Station and once arrived were greeted by very friendly staff. The room was very clean which had a flat screen TV and was decorated to a high standard. Breakfast was good, with a...

Recently returned from very enjoyable two night break in Milan with my 10 year old son. We mainly went to Milan for him to visit the San Siro Stadium. The hotel is well located for visting the stadium. It is quite a walk but you can hop on a bus and tram to get there if you wish. The hotel...

Had a wonderful stay for both work and pleasure at the hotel Accademia. The hotel is around a 10 minute scenic ride on the tram from the Duomo, and is facing the Portello shopping centre which has absolutely everything you want from high fashion and designer things, to more practical shops for everyday requirements. It seems that the managers concentrate...

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for two nights at the end of April with some friends. The hotel is a bit of an eyesore from the outside, rooms are modern but a little gaudy with their bright yellow walls. The room was comfortable, but could have done with more of a thorough clean for my liking. Breakfast...

Ignore the garish yellow hotel sign, once you are inside the Accademia you will find an oasis of tranquillity on the outskirts of Milan. The room we stayed in was modern, roomy, spotless and had all the amenities including dressing gowns, slippers etc. The reception area and bar were fine. The staff were extremly courteous, friendly, and provided excellent information. The only...

We stayed here due to my husband attending a conference close by. Its approx 15 minutes tram ride away from the heart of Milan and the Duomo. I probably would not have stayed here if I had a choice, as I prefer to be located close to all major attractions. However, I did thoroughly enjoy my 5 day stay at...

Me and my friends spent the greatest week end of the year in this hotel. We have been welcomed by the nicest staff I have ever met in a hotel. The hotel has apparently just been refurbished, and I would add to VERY HIGH STANDARDS! I loved everything from the service, the concierge, and least but not last at all...
