Most of the other reviews have it right, good hotel at a very fair price. You can spend more on a hotel in the area and not get the additional value. Yes the room is small, but how much time do you plan to stay in it? Why not just go down to the garden and relax with a drink...

This hotel is located not far from city center and several minutes walk from main shopping street. Service was very friendly and helping indeed, an extra plus for that. The only serious drawback is the room size. Not that I expected very much space from a 3* hotel, but the room was really tiny as well as the bathroom. A...

Kind of campaign in the middle of urban jungle ! The hotel has very good location close to the train station and corso Buenos Aires. Local transports are closed too: tramvia, metro. But main point of the hotel is the owners, you're like in an homestay, and have a "city break" in their lovely garden! Breakfast is good enough, the...

Stayed for 3 nights. The room was basic, very clean and comfortable within walking distance from Milano Centrale railway station. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and purchasing a ticket for Inter Milano football match. Breakfast was also ok. Nothing to complain about. The hotel deserves its tripadvisor rating.

I keep coming back to the Hotel "Villa" Bagliori as I find the location extremely convenient (near the Centrale Train Station and walking distance from the city centre), the rooms clean and comfortable, the cold buffet breakfast rich and varied and the service very likeable and warm.

Attending a congress in central Milan this Hotel was booked for me. I think in all honesty somebody has to do a review of the star rating status generally as it does not seem to apply same standards around the world. Hotel Bagliori was very pleasant, clean, staff friendly, nice breakfast and a great position. Only negative was that the...

Great location, right next to Central Station and Metro. The breakfast was very good with several options. Cozy room, comfortable bed, nice towels in the bathroom, pretty garden. The owners were very friendly and attentive. I thought the size of the room acceptable although not very spacious.

We stayed in a twin room for 4nights.We thought it was a lovely little hotel. the beds were so comfortable too. We were happy with the breakfast and the staff were friendly/helpful .It`s located an easy walk from the main train station. If we go back to Milan we would stay here again.

This could be a pleasant small hotel ,a short walk from the station and an easy tram ride (or longish walk) to the centre. Very good breakfast and lovely shady courtyard for hot weather. However the air conditioning had obviously been broken for a long time and despite our requests no attempt to mend it was made in the 4 days...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
