Pros: The room was good and spacious. The bathroom was very nice, specially the spa was very useful after a long day of walking and sightseeing. The location was close to Milano Centrale but not close to attractions. One funny thing, to use the wifi, the TV had to be on (weird) Cons: the staff at the hotel, specially at...

Excellent service, professional under all aspects. Rooms are clean, comfortable, well sized, quiet, with all comforts and offer a fantastic view on the city. Breakfast is amazing and the location is really convenient as it's close to transport hubs (trains, buses, trams, taxis, metro, coaches to/from airports) and the shopping area of Corso Buenos Aires. I am a regular guest...

Went there to attend à tourism fair in Milano, 4 nights. Hotel is few steps from the central Train station and from the underground , and 5 minutes walk from one of the most busy shopping areas. Big hotel, modern with spacious rooms more than 300 TV channels of all languages. Very good bathroom cannot ask for more. Breakfast is...

IT amazes me when a 4* hotel does not have a single iron or ironing board. As a business traveller it is important to know that you can iron a shirt that has been packed in luggage. I was offered a 7am same day service. The 6 Euro charge is standard in most hotels but the lack of customer service...

The hotel is opposite the Milano Centrale railway station - a two minute walk. The room 320 was spacious and comfortably furnished to a high business standard. Staff on reception were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was served in the basement dining room. Waiting staff were always on hand to serve coffee or answer questions. Breakfast was substantial and the...

We traveled to Italy recently and had the good fortune to leave the US a day early to avoid bed weather that would have delayed our trip. We were able to book a room at the Michelangelo Hotel, and it worked out so well that we will plan to stay there any time Milan is our first stop. The hotel...

Michelangelo has an excellent location for the train traveler. Room was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. I especially liked the fact that the fridge contained only a few simple items at no extra charge and that every room has its own wi-fi hot spot with good bandwidth. Staff are helpful, friendly, multilingual and observant. The train station environs are...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
