We stayed a night here after our other accommodation fell through. Milan accommodation is pricey, and world expo may have made matters worse. We were grateful to have a room last minute but it was expensive. Room is Tiny, like really tiny, and two single beds are separated by only a small gap. Breakfast was fantastic, 24 hour reception was...

We were enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a perfect location near a romantic area Naviglio and 10 min. walking to the Duomo, and lots of shops/restaurants. We have been visiting the Expo 2015 and this hotel was for us a perpfect, quite place to where we are coming back after...

On arrival we had to wait about 30 minutes to check in as only 1 person on reception who couldn't work the swipe card for our room. On entering the room we found we had a double and not 2 singles as booked. First impressions equally VERY DISAPPOINTING due to the filth of the room. Dust residue around all edges,...

Went for a business trip in sept 15, got back to hotel room to find my suitcase lock broken open and over two hundred pounds worth of souvenirs and private belongings had been stolen from room and suitcase. Staff are rude and unhelpful and manager was not around when i wanted to complain. The only person who entered my room...

That was quite good and clean hotel with wonderful location. Not far from the centre, close to great number of sightseeing and we could enjoy spending nightlife by the river which is popular place in Milan . As for the breakfast I can say that the choice of food offered was varied enough compared to the other hotels. Moreover, the...

The hotel is in a good position, 10 minutes walking by the metro station and in a vibrant night life area. And this is everything I can say good about this hotel. Having traveled right before the Expo, I found indecent that they would charge you ( and a lot) for wifi, when few hundreds of meters from the hotel,...

The small room is ok in this city hotel. Do not open all your luggages! The buffet breakfast is nice for the hotel category. If you traveling with car you should consider ask for the park in building with additional charge. From the hotel you can walk to the Domus, and to the nice restaurants area in Naviglio Grande.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was rich an tasty. I stayed with my dog and he was welcomed. I was allowed to leave my luggage after the check out for few hours with no extra payment. The price is good and fair and I am highly recommend to visit there.

We were very limited to hotels available due to the expo. The bed and pillows were poor so was the breakfast but if you are just using it as somewhere to crash at night it's fine. The staff were friendly and tried to help with queries best they could. Good location, not far to walk to centre and right next...

Arrived at midnight but got a friendly welcome and a quick check in. Just put our bags in our rooms and went out to get a snack and have a drink. The hotel was close to a bunch of bars and restaurants with a walking distance. We came back to the hotel around 2 am and sat down in the...

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
