I stayed 27/8/11 in room 218 (single) for EUR68 incl b/f - prepaid on Booking.com. I received an efficient check-in - not overly friendly but polite. I was pleased I could check in early after long flight from Aust. Nice quiet residential street. I felt very safe walking from Centrale to hotel at night on my own indeed I didnt...

The hotel is very conveniently located within about 15 minutes’ walk to the train station with a subway station nearby – just 4 stops from the main square. It is actually in a side street so it was never noisy. The rooms are a bit on the small side but that is something to be expected of a Best Western...

I am a travel agent and have just returned from a 4 night break at this hotel combining it with a weekend at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza. This hotel is in a perfect location for all that Milan has to offer eg Shopping, Sightseeing, eating out etc. Its also close to all the of the main rail links...

Arrival We arrived in Milan by air, and like most people we landed at Malpensa. From Malpensa there's a bus service that's very convenient for this hotel. The Malpensa Shuttle takes you from either T1 och T2 to the Central Station (Stazione Centrale) in about an hour. From there it is a pleasant 10 minutes walk to the hotel. Make...

Very nice hotel in the shoppingdistrict of Milan. Our room was quite large, with a very nice bathroom, bathroomamenities, tv with lots of channels, minibar, coffeemakingfacilities, good airco and free wifi. Staff was very friendly, everything was very clean and breakfastbuffet was very extensive. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the subwaystation, and nearby there are lots of shops, supermarkets...

Save money when you walk from the Central Station to BW Hotel Felice Casati. When you walk out of the station and you'll see a plaza ( Piazza Ducca d'Aosta). Walk towards the big MacDonalds sign, pass it and you'll see a diagonal street (Via Napo Torriani). Follow it until it ends (4 blocks) and continue on Via Lazaretto (for...

We chose the hotel due to its proximity to the Central station, it is about a 15 minute walk. On this trip to Milan we visited the surrounding areas. We stayed for 4 nights in a double room which was standard size for European hotels. The bathroom was okay, but the size of the shower was particularly small. Check in...

This hotel has some tiny closet rooms as the singles, but they are arranged in such a way that the room is comfortable enough for a few nights stay. The mini bar has a few treats and there is a 21 or 23 inch flat screen television for your viewing. There is a small desk to sit at, but for...

Our room spacious with 2 beds. The view was into a inner courtyard, so it was quiet. Bathroom was upscale with granite walls and floor. Usually hotels in Italy don't have good shampoos and soaps. It is better to bring your own. This hotel was an exception. Bathroom amenities were good quality and included even body-lotion (very rare in Italian...

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
