The site is very nice: near central train station, close to a lot of restaurants and in a clean zone. The rooms aren't modern style ones with a bit of lack of cleanliness. The very serious problem is the breakfast: Very little place causing difficulties to move even with a low number of people inside. Very poor variety of food,...

We selected the hotel based on its location near Central Station. It is from the 1980s but maintained well and certain parts updated. The room and breakfast we're perfect for the 60 Euros that I paid. From the front door of the hotel, it is only a 10-minute walk to the train station platform.

Though it's just the sleep, we had a very great time especially the room cleanliness and then the receptionists provide the best service, fast check in & everything's perfect in the perfect timing. Thank you for the precious sleep at your hotel.

The hotel has a convenient location very close to the main train station. Staff at the reception is friendly. However, the rooms seem to be very outdated and look a bit shabby in our opinion. For us, it was more a 2 than a 3 star hotel.

After a Europe trip we prefer just 2 nights stay at this hotel just because of the location. But I think these two nights affect all trip. An old and chaos system without knowing any rule, old staff at the front desk with poor ability to speak english and with showing their confuse in different ways you should anticipate any...

Positive points: Good relation prize-quality. Points to improve: No free wifi. No shampoo at the bathroom. Old-fashioned decoration but I can survive. Difficult to find a typical place to have breakfast next to the hotel.

Having decided that we has to get out of the Hotel Bolzano, we found this hotel fairly quickly. We were only in Milan for the one night and this was clean, bright and fairly well appointed. I was a bit disappointed with the size of the breakfast on offer and my lack of Italian somewhat limited conversation with the lady...

Not any more. The old decor is fading away, though a bit of charm remains. I'm not really sure about the reason but the staff keep quarreling with each other at all times. On the plus side. the central train station is just steps away.

The room would not have been comfortable for more than one person, or even one large person. Very cramped. The wifi costs around five euro for three hours and after paying, I was never able to get it to work. The man at the front desk was grouchy, but did eventually give me my money back. The breakfast was expensive...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
