A well placed hotel just by the station and metro to get anywhere in the city. Very clean, well presented. Helpful reception staff. Good enough breakfast, slightly dated decor but absolutely nothing to complain about.

The hotel is absolutely ok, maybe a bit old. Nevertheless, its colorful design is attractive, and the staff is really helpful - they solve any problem in no time. The only catch is homeless people, who flock really close to the hotel entrance. I guess it's the price for living near the railway station.

If you want to be close to the station, perfect, if you want to be near the shops and main attractions, not ( without using the metro) . This is a small hotel, i had a single room which was OK in size for an over night stay, the air/heat was not working, told that the Milan authorities would not...

The hotel itself is pretty average. The photographs are a little misleading as it's actually quite dark and not bright as the photographs show. The location is excellent as it's on a minute or two from the central station. The staff however are poor at best. Wen I asked for directions to the airport this seemed a little too much...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your review. I am very happy that you enjoy your stay at Auriga and I am sorry that internet connection was not so ggod. To solve this problem, we are already in touch with Telecom Italia to improve the system and the situation will be better within next month.

The colorful design was what got us to book this hotel. We were just hoping it doesn't end up looking like an old-beaten circus in real life. To our please, it doesn't. It is quirky, the rooms are spacious. While it is colorful but the tone is dark, so our liking, so it doesn't hurt the eye. The breakfast area...

I spent 5 nights at the Hotel Auriga just 2 weeks ago, doing a series of day trips from Milan. The Auriga is very near the central train station: the Stazione Centrale, and also a subway station by the same name ("Centrale"). The Hop On Hop Off buses stop in front of the train station and there is an airport...

The Auriga is a nice friendly hotel just a few minutes walk from the Central railway station and Metro. Airport bus's also stop close to the station. I have stayed here many times on business. The Auriga is close to many restaurant's and only a few stops on the Metro from the Piazza del Duomo. The rooms are functional and...

We flew into Milan and spent one night at the Auriga. It is a moment from the front of Milano Centrale, which is fully visible from the front step of Auriga. An excellent choice for the area. The room was clean, large, and well stocked. There was a safe and tv but, oddly, no clock. An elevator can take you...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
