I stayed two nights. The room is very small, and the window doesn't open. Weird devices to turn up the lights. The beakfast was good, pain au chocolats and croissants fresh and warm. Not a very friendly staff. But very well located and practical.

I stayed for one night at the hotel that is very well situated close to the centre. Didn't have a bad stay but can't say it was exceptionnal either, from a 5 star place I would have expected more. The staff is polite but I got the feeling that there where a bit indifferent about their guests... Only when checking...

This hotel is charming. It's not slap bang in central Milan but has great transport links with buses, trams and the metro nearby. The room was a decent size (we had three people in our room) with a charming feel to it. We went to Milan to celebrate a friend's birthday and the hotel left us a bottle of fizz...

We stayed for three nights. The room was clean and nice, not too small not too big. Shower was small, but fine. Big window, but no real view. Lobby is nice, staff were friendly. All of these met our demands. I would come back. The location was good as well.

We have been to Milan on a business trip and stayed there for four nights. The hotel is in the center but not the heart of it, which is a plus for us. Check in was relatively quick. The hotel is a boutique-style property which is obviously very old. The number of those offering service is very limited, although they...

We stayed in this boutique hotel for 3 nights on our trip to Milan. First I have to say that our room was super clean .... Also the common areas of the hotel were clean... In reception the staff was friendly and professional specially the guy at night shift....one thing was strange ... On the door key/card there was sticker...

The hotel was nice enough - good rooms and the staff was helpful except for one MAJOR exception. The location is great, two short blocks to a metro station, and walking distance to Duomo, with some great restaurant options very close. Our one big issue came up because of the air conditioning. Even though we were there in October, it...

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
