We had a pleasant stay in Mediolanum. Staff was very helpfull and friendly. Plenty of choise at breakfast, very clean rooms, shower and bathroom were fine. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, within walking distance of the central station and the subway. Only Wifi was very slow, but it was not a great issue for us. If...

We stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and were very impressed. Naturally, we again made a booking for our latest vacation to Italy this year. We stayed 2 nights upon arriving from the U.S. and another night in the middle of our vacation. We have found that Milan is a very good central spot for many train bookings. We...

We picked this hotel because it seemed close to Central station, but realized that there are plenty of hotels that are even closer and of better quality. This hotel is a few blocks away from Central station which is about a 7-10 min walk with your luggage. It's tucked away in the back of the neighborhood surrounded by ghetto bars...

Had a lovely three night stay at the Hotel Mediolanum for my 50th birthday. We booked our holiday through Thomas Cook and unbeknown to me they had put in a request that it was my 50th.On arrival the hotel upgraded us from a standard room to a deluxe room and had a bottle of spumante on ice waiting for us!...

The hotel is very convenient for, steps away from metro and Centrale station. My standard room is spacious and bright. The color scheme is a little odd but I can overlook that. The Big-Dipper ceiling light fixture is hilarious! WiFi works great for me. The bathroom is also spacious but we could use more water pressure for the shower.

Good value for money hotel, with wifi available in the rooms and breakfast included. Room was smallish but I had a standard single room so that was expected. Room was modern and clean, with all the essentials. I only stayed here one night but it was a good experience. The complimentary fruit basket in the room was a nice touch....

Ok, I give this place some street cred for living up to itself. This is a hotel awash with color therapy. You can set your colors in your room to enhance your moods. I've traveled the globe, and this hotel is the first to boast mood altering lighting. I'm happy to have experienced this, although I doubt it'll effectiveness. Oh...

The Hotel is looking "modern" but rooms are pretty small, you got kind of camping feeling. Breakfast was ok. Breakfast room is pretty small as well. Staff is almost friendly. For one night it is ok, for a linger stay rooms are too small to be really comfortable.

Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
