The hotel is in need of a serious upgrade. The lobby and bar area is filled with mismatched and oddly arranged furniture. I would not want to receive colleagues or friends there. The reception desk is situated in an unimpressive and hidden locale. The concierge desk is crammed in next to the stairs leading from the door. The junior suite...

I visited this hotel with my family back in March 2013 and honestly couldn't have asked for a better visit. The hotel was spectacular and situated right in the heart of Milan. The staff were very welcoming and polite (as to be expected) and the rooms were excellent. The highlights of the trip for me were not only the gin...

This is the third time that we stay in this hotel. First of all IT IS THE LOCATION. When they say LOCATION, LOCATION AND LOCATION this hotel is the description of it. It is just between Montenapoleone and Spiga. Two roads that can blow your gold cards away. Saying that, this hotel makes your stay easy, just ask them and...

I have stayed here on numerous occasions and have never had a bad experience. All the rooms are good but the suites are great! Staff are always brilliant and I love the spa with the 32c pool. Treatments are good too. The bar serves the worlds best gin and tonic and the restaurant serves a killer veal Milanese. They even...

I traveled with my daughter from California to Milan to buy my daughter's wedding gown. The hotel treated us like royalty and even upgraded us to an exquisite junior suite overlooking the beautiful garden. We travel to Italy quite often and we have stayed in many 5 star hotels but the Four Seasons Milan really went out of their way...

I love the hotel, its location that not just close to the famous boutiques, but also to cafes and restaurants. I also love the hotel building, interior and the room where I and my friends stayed for 3 nights. Some of us stayed at deluxe rooms, while some in the suites. I went to the spa and to change into the robe they sent me to the restroom down the hall. I had to change in a stinky stall. Not very elegant or what I expect from the Four Seasons. I will not return. In the waiting room/ relax area you hear noise of talking employees.

The location is great: this hotel is located in one of Italy's most fashionable shopping districts. A 15th-century convent has been transformed into an urban luxury hotel. Staying there is such a treat: everything seems to be perfect.

My wife and I returned to stay at Four Seasons Milano after they opened their new spa, pool and gym recently. These are great additions to a great hotel, which is in an outstanding location. Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Right in the heart of Milan's most beautiful inner city quarter, the Four Seasons Hotel Milano is just steps from Milan’s famed designer boutiques and magnificent Duomo cathedral. An easy chic feel presides of the hotel's lobby and Il Foyer’s intimate bar and lounge, serving cocktails created by the bar's resident Mixologist. The scene at Il Foyer is framed by granite pillars that once supported the church of a 15th century convent, and the space flows into restaurant La Veranda, specialising in unique award-winning Italian cuisine as well as international delicacies. Tables in the restaurant look onto a meditative view of an exquisite cloistered courtyard. The Hotel offers guests other surprising experiences from a seasonal Chocolate Room created entirely in chocolate to a theme; a Chef’s Table, traditional Milanese aperitivo and cooking classes inside the restaurant’s fabled kitchen, and one of the city’s most creative banquet catering teams. Fragments of frescoes, a beautiful emblem of the building’s sanctified past, create a meditative backdrop for the Hotel's relaxed elegant interiors interspersed with classic architectural flourishes. The Hotel’s 118 rooms and suites are appointed with distinguished diverse designs and offer views over the property’s tranquil manicured inner courtyards, the exclusive street of Via Gesù and typical neoclassical Milanese rooftops or neighbouring quiet private gardens. The Hotel’s newly designed Spa, a warm and tranquil space, fluidly constructed by Patricia Urquoila within the building’s historical architecture offers therapeutic treatments using the finest skincare products as well as a Turkish bath, swimming pool, one-of-a-kind Spa Suite and a 24-hour Fitness Centre. ... more   less
