Whether a taxi, room service, or a drink at the bar; everything was exceptional. My room was beautiful and the concierge's desk was amazing-I thought it, and they did it. Looking forward to my next stay in Milan and of course in the United States.

Four Seasons is definitely the best hotel in Milan. Our stay last week couldn’t have been better than it already was; from the spacious room, the amazing breakfast with view on the garden, our daily aperitif at the bar, the attentions in the room, the wonderful staff, the Spa treatments, … Vanessa at the Spa has probably magic in her...

Stayed for 2 nights. Mainly for opera on La Scala. Very good location within a walking distance from Subway stations and La Scala. We felt very safe walking late at night. I was glad my mother seemed to be very satisfied. We would like to use other facilities next time.

It was a really fabulous experience. The hotel is nicely located, lots of attractions are in a walking distance. Room was good, but I just prefer the shower and toilet to be in the same room. But still I was comfortable with them being separated. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was really helpful and friendly.

An older property than many four seasons hotels, this is still a nice well appointed facility. But if I had been personally paying the tab instead of on a business trip I suspect I would have been disappointed. The layout is sprawling with long walks to the rooms on the back side of the hotel. Many of the room overlook...

This former monastery is located in the best part of town and within walking distance of all the major designer shops and several restaurants. It made for a comfortable stay. In keeping with almost every Four Seasons where I’ve ever stayed, the staff is friendly and helpful. The room in which we stayed was tri-level with the bathroom on the...

My favourite hotel in Milan : - the check-in and out are very professional and efficient. - the hotel is greatly located and shows unique historical features ; it used to be a convent. I loved the vibes in their lobby bar especially in the evening with the live singing band. - we got a suite on the ground floor...

Excellent boutique style hotel with amenities of the large hotels. The service staff was outstanding. The choices of food and wine in the lounge fantastic! The location of the hotel was geographically ideal for the places I wanted to visit and for the shopping which is unbelievable. I can't wait to return.

I stayed at this hotel many times when visiting Milan for work. The staff is always very respectful and the hotel is very pretty, especially the garden and the balconies. I enjoy especially their room service. They have arranged to send parcels for me, give me wake up calls and also arrange transportation to stations and airports at any hour...

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Right in the heart of Milan's most beautiful inner city quarter, the Four Seasons Hotel Milano is just steps from Milan’s famed designer boutiques and magnificent Duomo cathedral. An easy chic feel presides of the hotel's lobby and Il Foyer’s intimate bar and lounge, serving cocktails created by the bar's resident Mixologist. The scene at Il Foyer is framed by granite pillars that once supported the church of a 15th century convent, and the space flows into restaurant La Veranda, specialising in unique award-winning Italian cuisine as well as international delicacies. Tables in the restaurant look onto a meditative view of an exquisite cloistered courtyard. The Hotel offers guests other surprising experiences from a seasonal Chocolate Room created entirely in chocolate to a theme; a Chef’s Table, traditional Milanese aperitivo and cooking classes inside the restaurant’s fabled kitchen, and one of the city’s most creative banquet catering teams. Fragments of frescoes, a beautiful emblem of the building’s sanctified past, create a meditative backdrop for the Hotel's relaxed elegant interiors interspersed with classic architectural flourishes. The Hotel’s 118 rooms and suites are appointed with distinguished diverse designs and offer views over the property’s tranquil manicured inner courtyards, the exclusive street of Via Gesù and typical neoclassical Milanese rooftops or neighbouring quiet private gardens. The Hotel’s newly designed Spa, a warm and tranquil space, fluidly constructed by Patricia Urquoila within the building’s historical architecture offers therapeutic treatments using the finest skincare products as well as a Turkish bath, swimming pool, one-of-a-kind Spa Suite and a 24-hour Fitness Centre. ... more   less
