When booking a hotel in Milan, we wanted to be close to the Central train station. This place is 5 minutes walk. Easy peasy. We arrived early and had to leave our bags. no problem. About a 25 minute walk to the tourist sightsee spots....More
Possibly the worst hotel I have stayed in for a decade.
Our aircraft, which was scheduled to land in Pisa, had to make a diversion to Milan airport. On arrival, we wanted to find an inexpensive yet clean and safe place to spend one night...More

Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the
terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
