We stayed at Palazzo Segreti for only one night and were very impressed with the hotel. The location was perfect, virtually on a pedestrian mall and very very close to the Duomo and Teatro alla Scala. From the moment the taxi pulled up till the moment we left in the Airport car the service was of a very high standard,...

We stayed here for one night after leaving the hotel we were supposed to be staying in after a terrible nights sleep and the rudest staff we have ever encountered (Hotel Mediolanum). We saw the good reviews of this hotel on trip advisor and decided to walk in and ask if they had any availability for that night. The lady...

This hotel is all about cool design, which I like. Everything is top-notch here! We really enjoyed staying here, eventhough it was a bit on the expensive side (since you don't spend too much time in a hotel...), but you get what you pay for. We even got upgraded to a Junior suite since it was my birthday, which was...

I stayed here in August for several nights. The hotel is very central, only 10 minutes walk to the Brera and the Duomo. It has been refurbished and is very modern in its décor. The rooms are bright and very clean. The best part about the hotel was the staff particularly one duty manager, Stefano Palmisano. I had a small...

Stayed here for a few nights during the summer. We got a taxi to the hotel which cost about 10 euro. Blink and you'll miss this place! Theres only a small sign on the wall for the hotel so keep your eyes open! On arrival the staff were wonderful, offering us something to drink, taking our bags to the room,...

Wonderful boutique hotel. A true Milan city experience. Stylish rooms - with lovely bathrooms. Small but perfectly formed. A short walk to the Brera and the Duomo with plenty of opportunities for some nice food, evening cocktails and Europe's finest clothes shopping. No gym but the nearby park makes for a pleasant running opportunity while taking in a few sites....

We had a 3 night stay in June 2012 and couldn't fault the place. From the moment we walked in the staff were very friendly and accomodating, the rooms are all different, but very funky and modern. Free wifi and buffet breakfast was superb, with plenty to choose from. Location was spot on just a 2 min walk to the...

We stayed at the hotel about a week ago with our 3 children (ages 11, 14, and 15). The kids were in one room and we were in another room next to theirs but not adjoining. Chic, somewhat minimalist room design. Clean and comfortable, and quiet despite being in the middle of the city. Our host at the front desk...

Very nice hotel in centre of city, about a 5-minute walk to the Duomo. Close to many shopping areas. The hotel is small and all the rooms are different. Rooms have a modern décor and include free wi-fi (although connection was not great) and a minibar. Free buffet breakfast with great coffee. Friendly service at reception.

Comfortable beds, effective air conditioning, free WiFi, flat screen TV, chic minimalist decor and beautiful bathrooms, all in an ideal location, walking distance to Cadorna railway station (if flying in or out of Malpensa) and close to the Brera district and Duomo. Dining tip: seek out the Antica Osteria Milanese on Via Camperio, two minutes walk from the hotel, for...

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hosted in the splendid setting of an elegant old building in Downtown Milan, rises PALAZZO SEGRETI, a new hotel concept. Located in the heart of Milan, between the Duomo and the Sforzesco Castle, the ancient soul merges with a modern image, made of sophistication and elegance. Raw materials, soft lighting, precious parquet, vibrant colors but never excessive: an architectural project that wanted the feeling of a second home, focusing on tailor-made livings and intimacy of the spaces. An elegant reception area, which houses important works of art, where to spend pleasant moments, thanks to the Winery. 18 rooms, all different from each other, to find your ideal place of rest and intimacy from the bustle of the city. Ideal for business guests looking for comfort and modernity, but also for refined tourists, given the enviable location in the heart of Milan, just steps away from the fashion district. ... more   less
