I was worried about calling the united states from italy. I have 3 boys and staying in touch is important to me. When I got to the hotel, i was told by the front desk that we would have a phone in our room to make FREE international calls. We were able to take the phone around with us to...

This hotel is well located and in walking distance from key sites. The overall experience was great and staff where very helpful and courteous. I do recommend this boutique hotel whether one is visiting on business or leisure.

The location is superb, close to the shoppingarea, great restaurants and many of the great sights in Milan. All in a really short walking distance. The superior room with a private balcony was exactly what we needed after a hardcore shopping and eat-all-you-can buffet at Wasabi down the street. The staff are really accommodating, service-minded and nice. The breakfast is...

A small boutique Hotel in the heart of Milan, with a big heart, big service and big people. The experience on arrival gives you the sense of coming home and it was sustained throughout our visit. From Dimitiris and his front office staff to John who assisted us with parking the car, as well as the breakfast staff, they could...

The hotel needs some maintenance because some furniture looks used. Staff is great. Breakfast is regular. Vertical garden is very nice and rooftop is awesome. Located in the heart of Brera district is the best atribute of this hotel.

Thank you for your review and for choosing our Hotel for your last stay in Milan. We are so glad you appreciated our location in the historical and central district of Brera, our inner courtyard of jasmine plants where the majority of our rooms overlook (giving the sensation to be everywhere but in the centre of Milan) and our staff,...

Once again this hotel is outstanding! I have been to Milan several times this year and no hotel has compared to the service, accommodations, and location. The staff makes this 4 star hotel a 5 star hotel. I will always stay here when I visit.

Nice boutique hotel with great breakfast. Very good located and in walking distance of all major things to do. The gym is smal. But has everything required, just a bit claustrophobic in the basement. Rooms are small but tidy.

Dear MitchvanW, thank you for choosing our Hotel for your last stay in Milan and for your review. Regarding the rooms, Hotel Milano Scala is a boutique hotel created from an historic 19th-century mansion, this is the reason why you might have found our rooms a bit smaller. On the other side, they are very cute, comfortable and fully optioned...

This was an excellent hotel from which to get to business in the center of Milan. The room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast options were good. I will stay here again on future trips to Milan.

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
