Small scale hotel, around 20 rooms, just few meters from pedestrian area. Excellent breakfast , good coffee, ,fruits, cakes, jams, and of course tasty Parmegiano from the region. Good for a short visit of Mantova City.

Lovely, friendly staff could not have been more helpful. When we went back to collect our bags in the afternoon of our departure, we sat chatting with two members of staff for about half an hour! They were lovely, really kind and friendly. Our room was lovely and very clean, in fact it looked newly-decorated. Breakfast was ok, but not...

The hotel is small, pleasant and well-located for the old town. The staff are friendly. However, we experienced a problem when we arrived at 11:30 pm, as the hotel is not staffed overnight (after 11 pm). This is very unusual for a 3 star hotel of this size (25 rooms). Entry to the hotel after 11 pm is by using...

Whilst the hotel is in a great location, it is about the only thing it has to recommend it. We had expected character and style but were sadly disappointed. Our standard room was basic, poorly furnished with inferior quality low bed. Noise from the local bars kept up awake until well into the early hours and then woken around 6...

We walked in on the day trying to find a room in Mantova, as it was pouring with rain and decided to stay over. Warmly welcomed by their friendly reception, who offered to show us the room before we decided to check in - such a lovely touch. We stayed in the Suite room, the only one available, and could...

The hotel is in a great location , right off the palazzo.getting there to check in is a feat, as the area is a restricted traffic zone and we saw absolutely no open parking space during our stay. But free public parking is not a far walk, once we had dropped off bags. The rooms were fine and our corner,...

Attractive family run hotel, just yards from the main square of the Palazzo Ducale, the Clock Tower and a great selection of bars and restaurants. Spotlessly clean and a lovely breakfast selection of home baked goodies, courtesy of the lady owner.

I really liked this hotel, especially the cakes for breakfast. We received a warm welcome, liked the toiletries in the bathroom. Unfortunately my husband couldn't sleep because of the noise from a nearby bar on Saturday night, but I slept right through it. It's a very pretty hotel and right in the middle of the city.

Late booking accepted and the service and emails were prompt and welcoming. Very pleasantly surprised with very central location. Very clean and neat with care for detail obvious. All staff are friendly and were genuine in their congratulations for my poor Italian . A/c was great on some very hot days and evenings . No street noise . I had...

Good location, large rooms, but poor quality. The air conditioning was said to be "not necessary" when I was there, but if was impossible to open with windows without mosquitoes invading. The bathroom smelled. The qulit (!) was dusty, as were the curtains. The only bright spot was the breakfast room. The food was simple but adequate, the room cramped...

“Noise was not a problem, but the lobby and elevator is small. The location is so good that it is hard to complain about the parking, as once you place your car, you walk everywhere. We pick hotels by the location, as we use it as a place to sleep while we explore the museums and restaurants. This is a fine choice for anyone that does not demand luxury.”
