Ate here on a recent trip to Stresa. The staff were friendly and our order taken quite quickly. However it took ages for the food to come. When I asked one of the waiters about it he went to check and the food came out about 1 minute later! They seem to have enough waiting staff but maybe there is... More

I've just had dinner on a very hot night. The food was good, nothing special, but very reasonable, well done and well presented. Good service. Quite place. The menu comes in four languages. Better take the wine by bottle, not glass. It tastes it was opened for a while. Don't miss the pannacotta. Very tasty!

It is a shame our server was SO bad. The grilled vegetables and the green salad we ordered took just about forever to be served but were okay when they arrived. Thankfully we had ordered a 1/2 liter of the house white wine (supposedly Tokai) to keep us occupied. The next thing to get our attention was a guest choking.... More

Small ,clean hotel. Friendly staff, excellent location in center of town with lots of shops and restaurants round about. The room was basic but comfortable and clean . A fan in the room was very welcome. There isn't much street noise after 11pm but there were lots of birds singing from 3am which made having the window open difficult, but... More

I didn't stay at the hotel, but I did enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The menu comes in 4 languages and offers a wide variety options. I enjoyed a rabbit meal which was well prepared and presented. The wait staff was excellent with just the right amount of attention.

A 15 minute walk from the railway station and centrally located in the centre of town, this Hotel is extremely difficult to find without very specific instructions. Check in is in the downstairs restaurant which can be confusing, and there is no lift to the hotel rooms, all of which are on the upper levels. All rooms are of different... More

Very convenient hotel in the centre of Stresa. The overall cleanliness, rooms, linen and towels were very clean. The rooms were well lit. Very good value for money. Getting to the hotel is relatively simple only a short walk from the train station through some narrow streets. The place is very central, shops, waterfront and ferry all very near.

The location of this hotel is great - only metres from the waterfront and ferries, right in the middle of the village. Parking nearby is a slight problem. But they helpfully assisted us with getting our luggage from the car. The room was spacious and clean, overlooking the lane below.

We stayed for one night on our way from Florence to Switzerland, and really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly, the price very reasonable, the location great and the breakfast very nice. Stresa is a most beautiful little town. If we have the opportunity to visit Stresa again, we will certainly stay in this hotel.
