We have just come back from Lido Palace Baveno, Lake Maggiore. The hotel is 151 years old and has a lot if it's original features, it was stunning. The family run Palace was friendly and so relaxing as a holiday should be, and the staff and family couldn't do enough for you. The views from the balcony rooms is mesmerizing,...

Our first visit to Lake Maggiore and we were treated to the most beautiful view from every where in the hotel, our room, breakfast and dinner were all accompanied with majestic scenery. It is not a completely modern hotel but you could be anywhere in the world in most hotels here you knew you were in Italy, it is steeped...

I had an amazing time staying in this hotel. We had 1 room with garden view and 1 with lake view - both are great but the lake view is just stunning! I would definitely come back as the hospitality was great, the villa is very beautiful and a heaven for nature and history lovers. The rooms are very big...

We have been coming here for many years and have never been disappointed. Testament to the hard work and genuine welcome the D'Amico family always provide. If you prefer...

Love it!! We have just returned from 11 nights at the Lido Palace and could easily have spent considerably longer there!!  The warmth and friendliness of the staff made it feel like a home from home. Nothing was too much trouble for Paulo and Roberto and we were looked after perfectly. The food was good and served in a restaurant...

We arrived at the hotel very distraught as Brussels Airlines had lost our baggage in transit. We had been trying for over 24 hours to get in contact with them but all we could get was a recorded message. We were at our wits end when we arrived at the Lido Palace hotel but the manager Paulo told us to...

Old fashioned hotel full of history and charm with the fantastic and friendly staff whose aim is to ensure you have a good time. Nothing is too much trouble. Before going to breakfast on our first morning, I went to Reception and saw a young man who we later found was the owner's son. I explained I had just had...
