A very lovely family run hotel, we found our room to clean decor a little dated but nice enough. In a great location just a short walk to the lake side one way and the other way a even shorter walk in town which is packed with wonderful bars and restaurants . We went with a large group of friends... More

Our stay at Broglia was pleasant, the staff were very nice and attentive. I would say the hotel is more 3 star as it really needs updating! There is no restaurant ( or at least we were not told) but they do offer breakfast. I didn't really enjoy it, not very fresh. We did not receive a welcome pack in... More

The hotel is situated In the quieter part of Sirmione which was perfect. The staff were very friendly and the hotel clean. The hotel has bicycles outside that can be used by guests which I thought was very handy. The room was very disappointing. It was stuffy, small and bland and could do with some fresh colored linen.

The Hotel is a little dated, rooms are small but clean. People are nice & the location is fantastic. Sirmione is a great place to visit & this is the ideal place to stop if the historic part is what you wish to see. Pool nice, breakfast good, Parking good, a lot of people with dogs as well. overall worth... More

I arrived at the hotel with some trepidation (having read the mixed reviews on TripAdvisor after I booked it), but I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised. Staff were always helpful, the pool area is just lovely and the pool temperature perfect, and the breakfast plentiful with a good mix of food and a big bowl of freshly-made... More

We enjoyed our stay, why the staff are very nice and helpful and in a great location. That said if your expecting a true 4 star experiment you'll be disappointed. It's obviously been a gram place - but in need of TLC especially in the bedrooms (archaic telephones, wallpaper lifting etc). But If your looking for a super location with... More

A lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Very clean and well furnished in a traditional style. Free bike loan and swimming pool. Very good breakfast buffet. I can certainly recommend this hotel. It has ample parking in the centre of Sirmione near to the castle and lots of restaurants.

We travelled with two children and chose two twin rooms and were surrounded by beautiful antique furniture and there was a definite aura of times past which was really appealing to us. The rooms were clean, bathrooms nicely presented although some more decoration on the walls would have made the room less sterile and cleaning out of lights of insects... More

Yes, it should be refurbished, renovated as you can read it in most of the reviews, but this flying back to the '50s-'60s, the Italian hospitality and the charming plot makes Broglia a hidden gem. Rooms, pool are clean, bathrooms are tiny, breakfast is really okay.

When you read the user reviews on Tripadvisor, you get the impression that this hotel really divides the waters. Many guests seem to either love or hate it. In my view staying there certainly was an experience. Mostly a positive one, I am happy to say. There is no doubt that the place is somewhat run down, but it has... More

“Corner rooms have two small balconies and overlook the pool.Stayed on 1st floor and there is a small lift if need,Handy when arriving or leaving for cases.Doors do have spring loaded system and often when guests leave go of the doors they bang very loudly.Air conditioning very good(in with the price)plenty of hangers in wardrobes. Not many drawers though and some restricted by fridge in the room, which was handy for keeping your drinks cool.Take your own brewing equipment as none in room. Hair dryer in bathroom, but slow.”
