The location of the hotel is perfect, you can reach every sights in a few minutes. The staff is very helpful and nice. A hungarian woman works in the hotel called Klara, who was very kind to us and whenever we had some questions, she always helped. :) The breakfast was okay, the croissant is delicious.

Great Location 5minute walk to either train station, just off a piazza with bars and restaurants, couple of minutes walk to lake and a old town. Rooms are a great size with massive bathroom, super clean. Typical continental breakfast, rolls, sliced meat, spreads, fruit, bakes etc. Staff were very helpful and cheery! Stayed for the Italian GP and the hotel...

Dear s d, thank you for review! It rewards us for all our efforts of past months. We are currently renovating some rooms and the breakfast room. Best regards, Umberto Butti

Was on a family holiday. Just beware that if you have big heavy suitcases, there are a few steps up to reception. There is a disabled chair lift just next to the steps and I asked the gentleman at reception if we could use that to bring our suitcase up. He refused and instead carried our suitcase up the steps....

We arrived in September 2016 at Lake Como by rental car. Hotel Plinius is located in a plaza, so once we had checked in, we were directed to an underground garage, a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There is little parking available around the Lake, so the garage was a safe place and reasonably priced. If you arrive by...

The hotel is in a ZTL zone in the Centro storico of Como. It is possible to drive your car to the hotel, unpack your bags and drive to a garage nearby where parking costs €16 per night. Your number plate will be sent to the police so you don't get fined. The hotel is close to piazzas and the...

It was a great experience all round. Reception staff were very helpful but the gem was the lady in charge of breakfast who made a very good coffee (or two). No request was too difficult for her. The cleaning staff were very courteous also I would thoroughly recommend. Great location.

This small hotel is located a few minutes' walk from the lake and city centre, and just a minute away from a lovely piazza. The hotel is very clean, breakfast is good and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you Florentina for the daily coffee at breakfast!

This is a small hotel with limited amenities but it is perfectly placed just off one of the loveliest piazza's in Como. The room was small but opened out on to the main street below and the hotel is within easy walking distance of all the sights, bars and restaurants in Como. Pleasant staff, basic breakfast but friendly staff and...
