Great hotel in Como town. Set back from main part of the lake , but only a 12 minute stroll centre and cathedral. Rooms spotless, complimentary breakfast and staff wonderful. Really friendly place to stay. A few bars and restaurants in immediate area. Also a...More
It is not so easy to find a good hotel in the Como lake area in November, since many hotels close down for the winter season. We decided to stay in Best Western Continental and we were not disappointed. It is a very nice hotel...More

Hi Michelle, catch the Malpensa Express train to Milano Centrale (about 1 hour) and then either a regional train (about 45 min) to Como S. Giovanni station or an InterCity train (probable final destination Zurich but stops in Como) which is faster and maybe twice the price at around €10 depending on how early you buy ticket. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from Como S. Giovanni station. You can buy tickets from ticket machines or earlier online from trenitalia. I prefer to buy online from the trenitalia website. Hope you enjoy Como as much as I did.
