We had a beautifully decorated room with a super comfortable bed & a private external bathroom in this lovely B&B located a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of Bergamo Alta. The breakfast was lovely & the staff (Leonora & Bepi) were super friendly & helpful. We did find driving to the B&B through a narrow passage between 2 stone...

The room was quite comfortable--faced the rear of the property--may be worth investigating the rooms facing front with possible better views. Shared bathroom, but that was no problem as there was no one else there for the first two of the three nights we stayed. Bergamo was an intermediate locale used to break up the drive from Lake Annecy to...

From the time we arrived we felt how cozy and friendly the managers were. The hotel was recently renovated and words cant describe how nice it was. The breakfast can be served anytime you wake up. The location is amazing . If you want peace and quiet this is the place!

Very accommodating and helpful staff, and a super nice hotel. We only stayed one night but wish we had stayed longer. Lovely view from the terrace where we had our breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Pierantonio waited for us late when our flight had been delayed and was a delight to meet.

This is a real treasure with a very warm welcome. Beautifully situated about 1 km from the old city of Bergamo, perched on a hillside with fabulous views. Lovely terrace, spacious bedroom (spotlessly clean) and copious breakfasts. Make sure you take up Pierantonio's offer to meet you from the airport as it could be a bit tricky to find the...

I took my family here for three nights last summer. Dimora del Riccio or The Home of the Hedgehog is a family-run B&B located behind the old city of Bergamo. It's in a very secluded and unique location. Both Marcella and Pierantonio were very friendly and gave us a lot personalized advice for both our stay in Bergamo and the...

We booked two rooms one day before our arrival while travelling from UK to the south of Italy. The owners kindly found the way to accomodate all of us last minute at a reasonable price and welcome kids and I like members of their family. It was a very nice stay, the view is panoramic on the town and strategically...

My partner and I stayed here for just one night having travelled to Sorrento for the main part of our holiday. How disappointed we were that we hadn't booked our whole holiday here! We booked our room at late notice online and had thoughts of a simple place with not much to offer, considering the price it was. We turned...

I spent two weeks (solo work trip) at Dimora del Riccio, nurtured by the constant (but not intrusive) care of the lovely Marcella and her husband Pierantonio. This has been the first time in my life that being at a B&B felt like been at home - everything was so smooth and the atmosphere so friendly that sometimes I almost...
