Tre Mari Portofino is a villa with 3 bedrooms and 2 shared bathrooms on the 1st floor. On the ground floor there is a living room and a kitchen. We had a balcony with an amazing view over the Portofino bay in our room. Yes, it's hard to climb up the stairs but the view is worth it. You can... More

Ask yourself really what you want out of Portofino. Unless you have a boat or have free accommodation, the drive into and out of it plus the expense of food and lodging do not feel like good value. A number of travel guides suggest a day trip (boat or bus) - seriously consider their advice! If you still want to... More

Hello Robi & Anna , the B & B in Portofino was magical ! What a fantastic place . I had the best stay here as a start to my 5 week Italian adventure !! Robi was there every time I needed help or advice . She greeted me with a free delicious dinner , 6 -star service on arrival... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was beautiful. The hotel is set in the most incredible location looking over the Portofino harbor. There are quite a number of stairs to climb (170+) to get to the hotel from the road but it is so worth it when you get there. The host was also so welcoming and lovely... More

Thanks a lot Anna and Robi for all your kindness. The place is great to explore local traditions: the wide court gives you a nice picture of Mediterranean vegetation and smells, and the nice home with its great view completes very well the landscape. I stayed three days in Portofino and everything was so nice that I had the feeling... More

We were staying on the Cinque Terre and decided to break it up with a visit to Portofino. We chose this place as it was the most reasonable last minute booking on booking.com and the trip advisor reviews were favourable. We had noted the comments about the stairs and packed light - after all the stairs we had encountered on... More

I booked at Tre Mari. Asked how to confirm with my credit card. I wrote a mail, no answer. I called, no answer. Then I got someone last minute but only to get another email telling me my email went to the junk mail box. I said we ste done... No booking for us. The answer was very blunt. Ok!... More

Anna, Giovanni are the best hosts you could hope for. If it weren't for the many, many steps leading up to the breathtaking view overlooking Portofino, we would have stayed on and on. Augusta, the generous owner of the villa, was gracious enough to reimburse us after we needed to cancel due to a knee problem my husband suffers from,... More

On our way to north Italy, we booked this hotel for one night (with our 4 years old daughter). The first challenge after finding the hotel was to climb some more that 120 steps (if you are not in a good shape or have heavy luggage, I won't recommend it!..or get their help). The place is rather like a 2... More

To start with the positives, Tre Mari has a stunning view, and Giovanni, our host, was very nice. However: We booked this through booking.com. The address listed there is quite misleading, as it looks like the place is in the middle of Portofino, whereas in reality you have to climb a steep and very long set of stairs to get... More
