This was probably my favorite hotel during my 10 day trip in Italy. The room and bathroom were both clean, the location was great, and best of all - the owner was so friendly! He sat down and showed us his recommendation for how we should conquer Cinque Terre + Porto Venere in one day. He gave us maps and...

Carlo is an enthusiast and provided us all the information we needed to enjoy our days in la spezia and the cinque terre. We stayed in a room with private external bathroom and it was totally ok. The affitacamete has a great location, and the breakfest just outside of the building was really good.

We stayed for 3 days. We had room #1 which has the external/seperate bathroom - i.e. it is situated in a small corridor which gives access to three rooms: the bedroom, the bathroom and a small reception/office. Although we were a little sceptic at first, there were no problems at all as the staff is not present during evenings. Room...

Very central. Close to the station. Staff very friendly. The room was very clean. A little noisy but the place is right in the middle of the city and we stayed in a saturday night so it is normal. Our stay was very pleasant. WI-FI also very good. The breakfast is simple.

Excellent accommodation in the heart of Spezia. Immaculately clean. Friendly. Well-run. We stayed 3 floors up at the front of the building and found it quiet on 4 of the 5 nights we stayed despite the building being in the heart of the pedestrian area among restaurants and bars - and even the one night was not that bad. We...

Leave your GPS behind. I asked the locals and found it on foot. It was worth it. It was exactly as promised, good internet, very nice room, breakfast at a local bakery included ( honest baker, I left my hat behind and it was behind the counter held for me!). The best tip I can give you is to drive...

For us the perfect location, large spacious rooms, very effective A/C, close to station, port and bars restaurants etc. older visitors should be advised there is no lift and the shower cubicle could use a little updating but great for price. Breakfast is taken in a cafe a short stroll away, coffee and a pastry, the italian way.

We stayed here for five days in July 2014 and had a great time. The location was perfect, right in the heart of La Spezia. The windows in our room (first floor, number three) was towards the backyard, so it was relatively quiet. The Wi-Fi was good enough to stream videos from the internet. During our stay, the beds were...

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this hotel and it was large, open and VERY spacious. We stayed 4 people and there was way more room than expected! The owner was very friendly and a great breakfast was included. Walking distance to the town and train station to access cinque terre. It was a great place to stay!!

This hotel is lovely and Paola, who speaks English well, is very welcoming and helpful. La Spezia itself was better than we expected based on what we had read about it. This was our base for an overnight stay so we could spend two days in Cinque Terre. The room is spacious and clean and the hotel is close to...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our Guest House has the glamour of a small charming hotel. It is placed inside of a typical Ligurian construction called "terratetto" that dates back to the year 1200, located in the heart of La Spezia in the very central Via del Prione, pedestrian area full of restaurants and shops. The guest house was built in 2002 and it had been refurbished in 2015, maintaining unchanged the peculiar internal distribution that allows each room to have its independent entrance, assuring the maximum privacy. The rooms are endowed with the greatest modern comforts, suitable also for the most demanding clients. There are 6 rooms: 4 double rooms and 2 big suites that can host up to 4 people each, all with their private bathroom. The furniture has been thought and realised in a sober and elegant style, giving the intimate comfort of a private flat. The location of Affittacamere del Prione is ideal for tourists and for those coming to La Spezia on business, close to the railway station and to the port that connects La Spezia to the Cinque Terre, Portovenere and Lerici. On demand the breakfast will be served in the room. See you soon! ... more   less
