We stayed here one night in May 2012 with contiki tour of Italy en route to Milan. Older furnishing in rooms, but very large rooms compared to the other places we'd stayed. The hallway into our room was very long too. Arrived late in the evening from the Monterrosso area to la spezia. The bathroom was very large too and...

I stayed overnight whilst on business. I arrived quite late at night which would have been a problem at some places but the staff were very helpful Can't complain about the place for what it charges Clean, comfortable and a great breakfast. Highly recommended

My colleagues and I were very disappointed with the rating given to this hotel. It is a 30 min walk to the town centre and in desperate need of refurbishment. The rooms are mediocre with rock hard beds and the air conditioning/heating is so old and loud. No restaurant to speak of except the breakfast room, small bar area. Mini...

An average hotel. Old fashioned furnish. Multi language reception with nice and Kind operators. Private parking. I thought it more a three stars hotel. It si situated in the harbour, not near to the city centre. Only a few restaurant in zone. We worked in the fair which is near to the hotel.

Enjoyed 5 nights stay, while walking in Cinque Terre. Location of the hotel was not interesting, but the staff met us from their heart (as they said) - smiling, very polite and helpful. And a hotel shuttle can be booked for certain times, which was a great way to reach the station and/or harbour. Breakfast buffet was nice, and so...

The location is a little odd... not exactly in the heart of the action. But that is a good thing. This is in a quiet area of the city with excellent shuttle service and a warm staff. The front desk was very helpful educating us on how to enjoy Cinqueterre and the shuttle driver was the best.

We were staying just one night in La Spezia and we chose this hotel because it has free parking space and is close to the highway. City center is about 10 minutes drive. Rooms are large and clean with a balcony. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok

We stayed at Hotel Ghironi for 2 nights in August. To be honest, I've been to my share of hotels but I was never as disappointed as I was there. The hotel and the rooms were very clean and spacious but very outdated, the bed kept moving and there was a strong smell of sewer every time we tried opening...

This is a great hotel on the outskirts of La Spezia - ideal for visiting the Cinque Terre and Portofino! We'd stayed before and found it just as good second time around! Yes, it's a little faded elegance - I'm sure they'll get round to redecorating - but the rooms are spotless, very spacious and comfortable, with two double beds...
