A recent stay in this hotel was fine and with others who where with us I would happily recommend this hotel and its staff and a nice feel to this vibrant city. However some tips, if you want a taxi for more than four people, ie a people carrier force home your request as you could as we did end...

My partner and I stayed here for two nights in the middle of the week for leisure. It was one of the highest star-rated and best reviewed hotel in the city, and we found a good deal, so we decided to give it a try. Our stay certainly lived up to our expectation. We were given an interior facing room...

We loved our 1 night stay here. On the day we were leaving we had no hot water on the shower! Friendly service they let us check in early and use the room which helped us a lot. It's in a quiet part but close to everything on foot.

The excellent Melia Genova is perfectly positioned for historic, gastronomic or shopping walks around the bustling old city of Genoa. It is recognised as the top (5 star) hotel in the city - see accompanying road sign photo. From Genoa's Christopher Columbus airport we were taken for a ride on the toll autostrada to East Genoa by our taxi driver...

It has a great location; it is walking distance to excellent shopping on Via XX settembre and to the Porto Antico via little residential streets where one can have a little feel of the life of the locals. Accommodations are just perfect: luxurious, but not over the top. Comfortable beds (which is very important), great heated inside swimming pool, rain...

We stayed @ Melia Genova for one week in August 2013. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Franchesca and Christian were fantastic. The hotel is located in a nice and safe neighborhood, we walked through the neighborhood nightly to the lift or stairs that take you to the city. Lift closes at 10:00pm, but the stairs are available 24/7....

Lovely hotel near the heart of Genova. The hotel design is very nice and the rooms are well appointed. The Deluxe room is very spacious – larger than most one bedroom apartments. Fantastic bathroom and very comfortable beds. Great restaurant for dinner & breakfast. Already planned to stay here again soon. Perfect for business travellers or anybody that likes a...

I stayed in the Melia Genova last July for 3 nights and I really recommend it. The location is very good, in a beautiful and central residential area. The staff is very helpful and nice. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. There is a small but enjoyable Wellness area. Free Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Breakfast was also very good.
