Amazing place, we can't wait to go back! My husband, 6year old daughter and I stayed for a week and loved every minute of it! The owners are lovely and can't do enough to help, they made us feel very welcome :) Stunning views over the Moneglia town and Mediterranean from the courtyard/terrace where we served our breakfast every morning...

Moneglia is a little, quiet seaside town about 25 minutes train ride from the 5 towns of the Cinque Terre. We found Castello Di monleone on the web, and the place was perfect. Paolo and his wife were unobtrusive hosts, but helped with everything we needed and gave us plenty of knowledge about e area. The room we were in...

We were so very happy with our stay at the B&B Castello di Monleone. This is an outstanding place, run by a very nice and helpful young couple. When you enter the grounds of the castello, you either pass with your car through a big, big porch in the ancient castle wall, or you walk up the hill as a...

My wife and I just finished a brief stay at the Castello di Monleone in Moneglia, Italy. We could not have been more impressed. There are million dollar views of Moneglia and the Mediterranean, the staff are all exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are first rate. Breakfast on the terrace looking out over the water is something we...

After reading the reviews for this place I was expecting it to be the best place I stayed in on my lastest trip to Italy - it wasn't, I was disappointed. We checked in a the hotel owned by the same people and were greeted by a pleasant and helpful receptionist. We then walked over to the Castello (which was...

Perhaps I shouldn't be letting others onto this marvellous secret - I spent three nights here in August by myself before joining some friends in Tuscany and it was absolutely marvellous. A fantastic setting in this magical castle overlooking Moneglia, able to use the facilities of Villa Edera - swimming pool, bar and restaurant. Monleone is situated two minutes from...

What a fantastic find! The Castello di Monleone is a beautifully restored castle which sits on a hill overlooking the sleepy little hamlet of Moneglia on the Italian Riviera. The rooms are decroated with beautiful Italian antiques, while the bathrooms have up-to-date facilities and HOT water. From the moment you arrive, you are treated as both a welcomed guest and...
