I was silly enough to arrive in Genoa without accommodation for the night. When I rocked up at the Hotel Meuble Suisse, Vito Ladisa told me they had no availability and that its very hard to find accommodation around here story, a little while later he said he may be able to help me though. Now I wasn't surprised as... More

Officially checked in, paid directly and entered the room once. We left for dinner and came back at MIDNIGHT with the following: Receptionist: "You have to give back the key right now, then I'll give you back your money. My colleague put two parties on the SAME room. " No apologies! The hotel had not organized an alternative. (there are... More

Excellent location, bit hard to find but got there. Bed very comfortable and staff hugely helpful and friendly. Loved the cage lift. As other reviews have said, it is a converted building but that added to the fun.

Our room (6) had a bad odour emanating from the the "pod" bathroom, the mascerator was leaking I think. The fridge didn't work. The room was drad/dull, it was clean though. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Genoa, everything is in easy walking distance. Great shops and cafes on... More

We stayed in this hotel for two days, the rooms are clean but gives a very sad feeling. The hotel is located in third floor of an old building. Seems it has been converted from an luxurious flat to a hotel as the traces of old glory are visible. Our room was somehow strange, two beds and a shower cabin... More

Very central, spacious rooms with wifi access, clean and comfortable - near the train and all the main attractions. The staff were really lovely and friendly - full of helpful suggestions. A bit hard to find so best thing to do is to use Google maps.. and look out for the plague on the entrance. Stairways up is a good... More

The hotel is located close to the city center situated on the third floor of old office building on the main street (Septempre XX). The reception staff were very helpful and offered multiple suggestions for sights. Parking was challenging--you have to temporary park on a side street a few blocks away, call the hotel, and about five minutes later a... More

Parking is very limited and a bit of a complicated process. However, hotel staff were extremely helpful in assisting us. The previous reviewers were correct in that it is definitely an office building, with the "hotel" tucked away on the third floor. The old elevator is actually quite interesting. I've seen pictures of this type in old movies but had... More
