We enjoyed a stay here and were happily met by lovely nuns who were very helpful. The rooms are basic, but sooooo clean! The bathrooms are nice as well. The grounds are very pretty and you feel safe and secure on the grounds also. They have a nice common room that doubles as the breakfast room-it opens to an outside... More

For those with a taste for luxury, this is not your place. It is, however, basic, clean, safe, secure and serviceable, welcoming and convenient. Our room was large enough for 4 people, with tall ceilings, absolutely clean, en suite bathroom, and quiet, with elevator. The grounds were lovely, with a short walk to the sea, to Corso Italia, and a... More

This is a very reasonable, well kept place to stay in one of the most beautiful areas of Genova. Run by nuns, surrounded by gardens, with views across the city to the sea, this immaculately kept bed and breakfast is a very basic, scrupulously clean place to stay. Bathrooms and bedrooms are basic but the atmosphere of calm and order... More

Outside Genova city center, not far from the sea front at Corso d'Italia. Bus 42 down the street takes you easily downtown at Piazza de Ferrari and Europe's largest middle age old town ! As 'Soggiorno Marcelline' is managed by nuns, in a convent that became too large just for the convent, you know what you expect. The rooms are... More

It is beautiful place, walking distance to beautiful Corso Italia. The breakfast served with quite few options and the room rate is worth it. It is also friendly service. In general it is a memorable holiday.
