We stayed one night with Fabio and Angela who are charming, warm people and great hosts. We will return for sure. The B and B is a lovely property high up overlooking the bay and town. Views are spectacular. The home is lovely and modern with very comfortable rooms. The hosts are available to give advice and chat, treating us... More

Fabio and Angela were wonderful hosts. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. After the strenuous hike up, Angela had water and orange juice waiting for us and Fabio sat down to get to know us and give us a lay of the land. The views are extraordinary and after a day of hiking, it was so relaxing to... More

The accomodation is a branch (upwards) on the path to Cornelia. As other reviewers have said, the hike up is strenuous, If you do it mid-day on a hot day with your luggage you will get a workout you won't soon forget. If you have heart health issues, knee issues, etc. you may want to 1) choose an accomodation in... More

Very peaceful setting with spectacular views of the ocean and Vernazza. There was a lovely cool breeze and nice terrace to sit out on. It was nice to be able to sit out on the balcony and chat with the few others visiting during our two-night stay. The owner is quite friendly and helpful with directions. The room was small,... Fabio and Angela are wonderful hosts. They have a great knowledge of the area and go the extra mile to help make your stay more enjoyable. We loved it so much we even stayed an extra night. Highly recommend staying there. Just ensure you organise a porter at the train station upon your arrival at Vernazza.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights and loved every minute of it! The walk up the steps can be exhausting after a full day of hiking, but it made the showers all the more enjoyable😊 The hosts are absolutely lovely! One of the nights there was a storm and a few rain drops the next day, and... More

You probably have already read that it is a 500 m walk uphill to get to this place. We are both over 60 and not in particularly good shape and we had no problems getting there with our backpacks, but we would not have wanted to try it with typical suitcases. We were warmly greeted on arrival with chilled lemon... More

The place is a gem! Very hospitable hosts, you feel like at home! The way up is steep, but even with my bad knees it's been worth to climb up the hill. The terrace in the evening and at any time a peaceful spot.

We stayed here for five nights and would stay here again if visiting Vernazza. Our hosts were friendly, polite and unobtrusive. Their house is lovely, tastefully decorated and most importantly has very comfortable beds! We stayed downstairs for a couple of nights then moved upstairs to a larger room. Both were fine, we'd probably recommend the downstairs room as, though... More

We had a most happy week in the self-catering apartment at La Toracca - up high, between the Castello and the Torre. A bit of a climb with luggage, but well worth it when we got there. Roomy, comfortable and well provided. We were in the centre of life in Vernazza but away from the bustle.
