All the communication beforehand was via email with Nohelia but we never met her or her partner. Their husbands were too busy to come and help us with our luggage before 11:00 am but we had to leave so handling the luggage was a struggle. Not even an apology but one of the twin told was that the service was...

The Il Pirata restaurant is just up the hill from the train station. We arrived late in the day and they had someone meet us there even though they were closed. We get up early, otherwise the cars beeping their horns as they go around the bend in the road in front of the hotel would've bothered us. Breakfast is...

We just got back from our trip to the Cinque Terre, what a beautiful, unforgettable place! This was our "home base" for our vacation; Vernazza is such a charming village to stay in. We checked in on a day the associated restaurant, Il Pirata was closed. A local guy they hired to meet us led us up the hill a...

As expected our stay in the studio was top notch and the brothers delivered their normal hospitality and kindness. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. Of course the breakfast and dinner at the Il Pirata adds to the entire experience.

We booked the studio apartment for three of us. Our 13 year old daughter had a cot that was really comfortable. The studio is very clean and modern. The air con works really well which was a godsend in August. There was no TV but who needs it in Cinque Terra - there are so many other interesting thongs to...

Stayed in the studio of the Il Pirata Rooms for 3 nights in July. It was scorching hot over the three nights and we were definitely glad we stayed in the studio as it had full a/c which made the room great. Bed was very comfortable as well. Had a nice terrace overlooking the water. Breakfast included at Il Pirata...

Il Pirata--the location, the rooms, the hosts--were fantastic. The rooms were very clean, quiet, and a lovely little walk up from the "main drag". The river right below our window made for almost poetic slumber! The Il Pirata brothers (amazing cooks and cheerful, hilarious, hosts) and their wives made us feel at home. Just make sure you know when Il...

Overall a nice, clean inn to stay - not especially fancy, but comfortable. The brothers who own it are very entertaining and helpful when picking restaurants in the area. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing - the brothers make house made pastries every morning and they are incredible.

My husband and I stayed at Il Pirata Rooms for 2 nights and were very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were very fresh smelling. It was a plus to be above town as the only noise was the babbling brook below the window. Il Pirata has minimal stairs so I would recommend Il Pirata to anyone...

My husband and I booked a last minute trip to Italy and had a lot of trouble finding a room in Vernazza, so we "settled" for staying at Il Pirata (in one of the two rooms a quick walk up from the bar/cafe of the same name). I wasn't excited about the place due to the lack of a view...
