We came here in October, their Autumn and the weather was still perfect. 19-23deg everyday. The staff were exceptionally friendly. At check in they took time to explain the buses, trains, boats, gave us time tables and provided a detailed map for some of the most breathtaking walks anyone can do. The view from our room took our breath away!...

We chose Luna di Marzo to avoid the hustle and bustle of the five actual Cinque Terre hamlets, and for the views. I preferred a sweeping view along the coastline, and to look down on the sea from the cliffs. The views are indeed grand. We appreciated the quiet of Volastra, which is quite small. But, that also means there...

Nice rooms and just breath taking views. Right in the middle of the Cinqe Terra above the cities. Owners few nice and very, very helpful. Best value we had in Italy. 125 Euros a night with breafast and good. Even offered to scramble us eggs but the Euro Breakfast is fine and very good. Good for recommendations and rooms kept...

Room was quite large, but the walls were blank. A picture of photo would have been nice. Big bathroom but small shower. No fridge and no tea making facilities. Having breakfast on the veranda overlooking the ocean was amazing.

First - I've never given a 1-star review for anything, ever. I take this very seriously. My personal experience is that the owner reminds me of Jack Nicholson's character Jack Torrance in The Shining. I wouldn't risk having the same experience we did. The owner of this hotel was insanely rude to my family (including my 3-month-old infant daughter!), and...

Great hotel, very friendly staff, indescribable view & breakfast with Gods on the terrace overlooking virtually all of Cinque Terre. Room was clean and comfortable. Only 2 restaurant choices in Volastra on the hill but both are excellent with good variety. Good point to start from if hiking to the other towns as Manarola and Corniglia are down hill. You...

It is a very clean place up the hill from Manarola and they are very friendly. It was only ten minutes by the bus but impossible to walk up with luggage. Our room was very nice, thin pillows, but the breakfast was great. Here are two down sides, breakfast starts at 8am but the first bus is at 7;50 am...

If you are looking for a room with a view this is your place. That is exactly what we were looking for and why we stayed outside one of the 5 main towns. It was worth it for that reason. you will be off the beaten path so getting back to your room at night will be a challenge. Marzio...

Luna di Marzo was our first B and B in Italy. The terrace and views of the ocean and sunsets were the very best of our entire trip along the Cinque Terre coast. The B and B is in the very small village of Volastra. This is a very small B and B. The owners were nice, but did not...

Getting around in the Cinque Terre is "challenging". This was a bus ride up into the hills with the Italian (relaxed) version of a bus timetable. But 5* worth the pain of getting there. Luna di Marzo serves a v good breakfast and if they served dinner as well, no one would ever leave.
