The only thing saving this place is the location. If you're staying overnight this may be ok. The room was dirty, bedroom made us feel uncomfortable and towels were non-existent. It's advertised with free breakfast but there's no such thing. A dirty half empty plastic jar of coffee is hardly "breakfast". This is not a b&b! There's lots of stairs...

We booked to stay here as there wasn't much available. We had to wait around for hours before we could check in, not even able to leave our luggage earlier. When we were taken up 4 flights of very steep stairs, some with no handrail we were shown a dingy and unclean room with a cloth excuse for a towel...

This place the essentials of what you need. (no TV) The stairs getting there are a bit steep, but no hill for a stepper! Its close to the water and we had a great ocean view. The food was amazing and close to the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful! We would love to go back.

Starfish proved an adequate accommodation for my visit to cinque terre. There were plenty of stairs to navigate. The room was comfortable and area. Modern bathroom and limited cooking space. It is close to many restaurants and at night it can be a bit noisy. For the price, there isn't too much to complain about.

Ok, so the location was great, and that's about it... The room was dirty, the bed was awful, and the view was an ally... Oh, and did I mention I got some kind of horrible bites all over me at this hotel. They aren't bed bugs, so don't worry about that, not sure if they were fleas or what, but...

Was looking forward to a wonderful view that was pictured on their info page. Really was the only reason I chose this "hotel". Well, the view was of the neighbors across the street. The apartment itself was small. Silverware was filthy, and the shower is smaller than a telephone booth. Coffee maker was a nice touch. Would have been nice...

My partner and I were a bit hesitant and worried about staying here after reading reviews on TripAdvisor but were on a budget so took the risk in booking it. The only negative are the steps - there are quite a lot of them so be prepared and if you have mobility issues I wouldn't recommend staying here but a...

great location but riomaggiore is so small you cannot have a bad location... you are woken up by church bells outside your old shutter windows and can hear Italian neighbours cooking and chatting from their windows across the alley as they hang their washing out...this is an authentic experience (good thing) lovely simple apartment which is what we wanted BUT...

This apartment was a huge disappointment. The shower had mold and wasn't clean. Very little hot water. This was a 4th floor walk-up with no air conditioning, dirty floors, and a couch so dirty you wouldn't want to sit on it. It had a floor fan that was so caked with dust that it didn't even push any air. No...
