My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Villa Argentina for two nights in October 2013. Cinque Terre was one of the stops on our two week trip to Italy. We did a lot of research on the area to decide on the best town to stay in. We were deciding between Riomaggiore and Monterosso and had friends that had previously...

Room basic but clean and good wifi. Exceptional views from balcony. Fair breakfast but had to pay for proper coffee. Location is right at the top of town! All uphill and quite a hike so be prepared. Went in off season so a lot of things were closed, had to go down to town centre for any meal. Loved cinque...

Yes, you do have to hike up the hill to get the view, but it is well worth it. The hotel has a balcony where you can have your wine/cheese etc and just chill and take in the view. If you buy the Cinque Terre Pass riding the bus up/down the hill is free, otherwise I think it is still...

We stayed for two nights while on a girls trip to Italy. There were four of us so we had the quad room with a double and bunk beds. The room was small and so was the bathroom but the balcony and view were great. Breakfast was nice. Just a warning, when they say to get off the train, walk...

Room # 1 is the only room in the lobby, and the bathroom was covered in ants. We were moved for the next two nights to the second floor with a balcony that over looked the ocean and was excellent. They over-book and don't let them stick you in room #1. When I complained I was told that we would...

We rented a 1 bedroom apartment in the middle of Riomaggiore. Good location, we didn't need to hike all they way up the hill which was nice. The room as adequately furnished. The bed was a bit hard but I found that common for a room in this price range on our trip. The other downside was the church bells...

The view from this hotel is stunning! It sits on top of a mountainside overlooking the Mediterranean sunset away from the hustle and bustle of the train station and tourist dense streets, it is a quiet, clean respite from a the busier parts of your day. The breakfast offered is balanced with fresh fruit, pesto, pastries and quiche most days....

Room clean but maintanence wad not great. The big issue with the hotel is that some of the rooms are facing a...

There were mixed reviews about this hotel, however I really wanted to take advantage of the view while in Cinque Terre. For the price we hoped that the hotel could provide us with a balcony. Since it was our honeymoon they upgraded us to a balcony room. This room is a bit old, but clean. The bathroom was super small...

Yes, the rooms are small, yes your knees touch the shower, yes there is only one english speaking channel but c'mon. Are you there for American comforts or the charm, the views, the service, the great breakfast, oh and the art absolutely fantastic!
