I stayed in apartment 4 with one friend. It was noisy as it was right near the train, there was no wifi, it was very old fashioned and the shower was broken so we weren't able to shower for the two nights we were there. The beds were also very uncomfortable and I hardly slept! Gianna met us at the...

Three families stayed in apt 3, 4 and 5. Alrhough they were in different buildings they were close enough. Apt 4 was the best!!!! Huge terrace overlooking the water!! This was a comfortable clean convenient place to stay. Train very close so a bit loud at night with window open but terrace makes it all worth it. Apt 3 was...

Let me start by saying the woman Gianna who met us and gave us keys was very nice and this review is not based on our experience with her. We just recently returned from Italy and spent two nights at the "aquamarina" in Monterosso al Mare. Corrado quoted us a price for the "aquamarina grand suite" for our two families...

Monterosso is very small, so wherever you stay, you're going to be close to everything. The apartment is on the north side of town, very close to one the several small beaches and right next to one of many hiking hills. Corrado is a very nice guy and his parents are lovely people. This is a family-run business, you feel...

Delightful reception by owners who also clean their own rentals and carry out annual redecorations. Clean, airy and fresh. Within easy walking distance of the main street, a safe and quiet neighbourhood. 5 hour walk to Riomaggiore and only 10 mins back on the train. A great selection of bars and restaurants, something to suit various pockets. Suggest you take...

To rent this studio (one of a few family driven rooms) by Corrado was a very good experience and could be recommended! The room was new, tastefull and well-equipped, and was cleaned every day (by Corrado's nice parents) with new bath towels. Beside a double bed and a sofa bed, it had a small kitchen department with a table and...

One of the apartments hasn't window, but we didn't miss window....

I could not have asked for more. Firstly, Corrado had emailed to ask what time our train came in. Sure enough, he was at the station to greet us. He took one of the big cases, and led us a short walk to the apartment. So, location : Excellent. Opening the apartment, we were greeted with a spacious place, plenty...

Lovely stay at Acquamarina for two night in late April. We stayed at a two room apartment near Supermarket (west part of Monterosso). Corrado met us at the train station and followed us to the apartment and was always ready to help. 5 minutes walk. Light and clean apartment. TV. No internet. Would stay again.

We stayed in the Grand Suites in the AquaMarina Hotel...well lets say House. It was the bottom floor of a three story apartment building about 1 block from the ocean. The Corrado family was very nice to deal with and meet us at the parking lot by bike. The Grand Suite is the bottom level consisting of 3 rooms with...

“The town is built on a hill. Make sure you are not right by the railway station. Monterosso is a good location if you are arriving from the Pisa direction and continuing on to Florence (or vice versa). Unless you want to do your own cooking, look for a real hotel with real hotel rooms.”
