We were so miserable that we had to move to the next town. We have never done that before, but this hotel is not what it appears to be on the website. When you arrive and anytime you return, you have to hike up a very steep cobblestone covered hill to the hotel entrance and again to the hotel rooms....

Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They contacted us before our arrival and provided advice on how to get to the hotel, which was very helpful as it is a difficult area to access by car. They were also incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay too. The hotel was lovely - central but in a quieter spot with...

I traveled with my two children ages 11 and 16 for four nights in Cinque Terre after a two and a half week tour of Rome, Florence and Tuscany. I couldn't have chosen better having never been. Monterosso was the best choice for us. Larger, two decent beaches, walkable. Martin and his staff we very helpful and knowledgable. The room...

Very nice B&B set above the town of Monterosso. Aprox. a 15 minute walk from the train station. Great for someone fairly fit as there are a lot of stairs to contend with once you have reached he top of the town itself...not recommended for someone older or with any disabilities...especially in the summer heat. The B&B does offer a...

The hotel was excellent. The staff is very friendly and very helpful with answering all of our many questions. The rooms are modern and clean and the linens lovely. The breakfast one of the best we have had during our trip. The hill is a bit of a hike but honestly we really only felt that way the first time....

This B&B is very cute and quaint and clean. As the description states, it is located up a very, very steep hill. I recommend calling the hotel about 30 minutes before you arrive so the staff can 'drive down' the luggage motorized carrier to get the luggage up the hill. Our main contact at the B&B (Juan??) was wonderful. He...

We had a lovely week long stay in the upper room of the inn (room 1b). The accommodations are very nice, the room was new and clean. The staff was very helpful and are a good source of advice on what to do and where to go. Yes, it's a long steep walk up from town and a steeper walk...

Nice small hotel up in the hills. The hotel is basically a lobby with hotel rooms and a lemon garden. I found it expensive for what it was. Buffet breakfast had limited choices but was good. Our room had a balcony with a nice view facing the ocean. Internet signal is limited and you had to go downstairs to the...

The hotel clearly indicates the steep stairs to get to it. So be prepared it is a bit of a climb after a long day of walking/hiking. However, the propert seems newly remodeled as everything looked sleek and modern. Room is very spacious, would have like a balcony :(( Wifi worked, shower a bit small but the bathroom floor felt...

The Casa Dei Limoni is a nice little B&B in Monterosso al Mare. There are a lot of steps up the hill to get there. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, and the location peaceful and pleasant. The breakfast is the downside. It was good, but it started late (about a half-hour after it was advertised...
