I a 73, visiting the Cinque Terre for the second time with a friend 9 years younger --- so was worried about climbing up and down over 140+ steps to get to this B&B ... but Lorenzo met us in the lower square and carried our bags up ... and then back down when we left for the train, and...

10/10. 100 steps up, but worth every one. When I walked into my room the view from my balcony was stunning. The room was clean, modern, spacious, free wifi, everything one could want. Breakfast variety really good & to sit & look out over the coastline was just beautiful. Giovanni & Lorenzo were so friendly & helpful. The place is...

Manuel's Guest House is truly a gem in old Monterosso. First, you want to stay in old Monterosso if you love the charm of the narrow streets, (hint: no cars), tons of shops and restaurants, and people walking, socializing and enjoying this very special village in the Italian Riviera. It's true there are a few steps to climb to Manuel's...

We spent three weeks here this time and have to say that it has gotten better! The fresh fruit plates after a day of hiking are genius and the cold beer and wine on tap is perfect at the end of the day. Situated at the top of the old town, you are removed from the hustle and bustle below,...

Lorenzo and Giovanni were so friendly, helpful and welcoming! Every morning we were offered a coffee of our choice, a fruit smoothie, focaccia, fruit, meat tray, cheeses, pastries, and hard boiled eggs. Each morning it was a delight to wake up and eat breakfast on their patio. Each day Lorenzo would provide a 1.5/2 liter bottle of water to our...

This B&B made our trip to Italy unforgettable! Perched at the top of a hill overlooking the city, this guest house is truly special in so many ways. And don't be worried about the steps, it's worth it to be removed from the hustle of the street (especially during high tourist seasons) and have peace and quiet while still being...

We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed this B&B. The view is amazing and the hospitality is the best you will ever find. Giovanni and son (Lorenzo) are great hostesses the breakfast in the morning was very good, try Giovanni's smoothie and the focaccia is too good to have only 1 piece. This place has a lot stairs to get...

Words cannot describe this place, but I'll try! We enjoyed spectacular views, 5 star amenities and being treated as though we were part of the family by Giovanni and Lorenzo! We liked the activities and experiences found throughout the Cinque Terre, and absolutely LOVED the relaxing atmosphere we found upon our return to Manuel's Guest House! Grazie!!!!

2 nights of Bliss!!!!!!!!! The room and bed are spotlessly clean and modern. The bathroom is small but excellent shower pressure. We had the smallest room with no balcony as that is all that was available, but the window was huge and overlooked the whole town so we were very happy. The stairs are never ending but if you contact...

Amazing view, great breakfast, comfortable bed and a clean room with modern updates. A lot of stairs but the view and the hospitality are absolutely worth it. Best place to stay when visiting and hiking the towns - I really can't say enough good things.
