We just got back from a stay with Federico and Laura. We were two couples and rented the C1 and C2 cottages, both surrounded by olive groves about a kilometer up the hill from Monterosso. C2 was clean, small and cozy but had no view, but C1 was amazing and it worked great for the four of us, as we...

We stayed in apartment C5B for a week, the pictures on-line don't do it justice, its a wonderful apartment that is beautifully furnished with stunning views! Of the 5 weeks we were on holidays, I had my most peaceful nights sleep here, it was so quite and with the window open you could hear the ocean, the bed is comfortable...

Frederico and his family were gracious and generous hosts. Apartment is very comfortable and the little terrace with a view of the water was a real plus. So quiet at night that I haven't slept that well since I was a kid. Keep in mind steps into town are a challenge. We are age 66 and considered it great exercise.

We stayed at Federico´s apartment C5 A - it was wonderfully equipped, spacious and very bright... the view from small balcony is simple breathtaking! Everything was very clear and I had special experience with sheets on the bed - soft, cool, expansive looking.... Federico and his son had many informations and tips ready for us and were always avalaible, when...

We absolutely loved our stay at Federico's attic apartment. Although you had to go through the family's house to get to the apartment, they were really really lovely and Federico kindly picked us up from the station and dropped us off again. The apartment itself was so sweet with outstanding views. The apartment was very clean and spacious and the...

We stayed in the C1 cottage above Monterosso al mare. Booked on airbnb.com. Federico had excellent communication via email prior to our stay and picked us up at the train station when we arrived. The cottage is located well above town with beautiful views. You can get there via taxi (8 Euro at night) or by bus (couldn't figure out...

We stayed at the "C1" cottage up on the top of the hill in Monterosso. What can I say - WOW. We loved every minute here, the view from the balcony is absolutely amazing, very relaxing spending the evenings out there with a glass of wine. The gardens were beautiful too. Federico and his son were very hospitable and friendly,...

A wonderful cottage with absolutely breathtaking views. Federico was very accommodating, picking us up from station and dropping us off. Steep walk up to the cottage from town but it's easily doable and an adventure in the dark! Would love to stay here again

we've rented the house on the hill (excellent view over the region, you can see Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia and Manarola from your balcony). except for the hike (about 15 minutes from the city center), worthy though if you are into photography, everything was perfect and Federico and his son proved to be the friendliest and most helpful all the time....

B&B Ulivo has several locations. The one we stayed in was centrally located and turned out to be a large spacious room with large ensuite and small kitchen area. The room was nicely decorated and there was some impressive brick work which dated back to the 15th century. However the room was dank, dark, musty and had a strong odour of...
