We chose this hotel because it has a lift (at Cinque Terre, some hotels have no lifts)and the email replies to our queries before we booked were answered in good and polite English as contrast to couple of other hotels in Cinque Terre. We were happy to be given a room with excellent view of the sea. The tariff was... More

This hotel is well situated just above the hustle and bustle of the old town side of Monterosso. The view from their terrace is stunning at any time of day - perfect spot for a bottle of wine and snacks easily found at the many small shops you pass on the way from the train station to the hotel. Nothing... More

We stayed in an annex to the main hotel. It was on the top of the hotel but was conjoined by a small walkway which was a bridge to the neighboring building. It was interesting... It was more like an apartment with two bedrooms a huge living room and a gutted kitchen. (There likely was a stove that was removed.)... More

I booked myself in a single room. I spent three nights in Monterosso, each in a different hotel. This was my first night and although I felt it was okay, when I compared it to the other two (which were equal or cheaper in price) it didn't compete. The room was very small and basic. The staff were friendly and... More

We stayed here for three nights while visiting the Cinque Terre. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was fantastic. It's located in Monterosso about 10 minutes walk from the train station. The room was adequately sized and had a balcony. There's a rooftop patio which we used for afternoon refreshments. I would stay here... More

This hotel was very basic in its accommodations. Its 50's vintage bathroom fixtures are in dire need of an upgrade. The room was very small and cramped and bed and furniture uncomfortable. The breakfast was OK and the roof-top garden the best thing about the place. The shower did not have a soap dish and the sink had no stopper.... More

I would have given them a higher rating, but my single room was so small I couldn't even walk around to the other side of my bed when my suitcase was open. Also, it was very noisy both inside and out. The hallways are tile and the sound echoes throughout. One of the other guest thought it was a great... More

We stayed on night in this hotel and were pleased. There is a parking garage at the top of the hill and it is less than 10 minutes downhill to the hotel, uphill back to you car. You need to be in ok physical shape. The rooms were actually nicer than the pictures on the web. They were also clean... More

First, the breakfast is amazing and has a great selection of drinks and food along with a nice coffee machine that makes espresso, cappuccino and american coffee too. The hotel is only about 15 minute walk from the Monterosso train station, walk to your left facing the water down near the beach, go thru the tunnel and walk to the... More

We stayed here for 1 night in September. The location was great, right in the middle of the old town, about a 10 minute walk from the train station. It did still seem quiet as there wasn't any noise from outside. The rooms were nice and the breakfast offered a wide range of options. Would stay here again if we... More
