Agree with all the comments. Extremely nice host, helpful with tips, recommendations, suggestions. Rooms are on smaller side and bathroom is tiny, but you still feel comfortable. Good location! yes it is 15 minutes walk from train station but it was not hard at all. we visited all the villages and were really glad picked Monterosso as the one we...

This hotel, located at the top of the village on the Via Roma (Main Street as the name suggests) is about a twenty minute easy walk from the train station in Fegina. Located on the second floor of a small apartment building, entrance at the rear is well signed. The owner, Andrea, appears to spend about 12 hours a day...

Clean and value for money accommodation which is a good base for visiting the Cinque Terre. Host Andrea was so nice and friendly to us which made our stay even more pleasant. I even got to take home a small token (Cinque Terre magnet) which was such a great gesture.

A Welcome email complete with directions from the train station to the hotel and accurate information regarding the hotel and facilities well prepared us for our visit ahead of time. Our host was extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly, providing local knowledge of hiking tracks and other notable attractions. The rooms are relatively compact, have recently been renovated and are very...

It did seem a bit expensive however, the rates for the Island are on the higher side. The man at the reception is nice and friendly and will give you good advice. Do not go for the restaurant which gives a 10% discount recommended by the hotel. It has rude staff and food is bad. Other than that, its a...

Andrea was a lovely and gracious host. He helped to make everything about our visit run smoothly, from checking in to providing maps and advice about restaurants and hiking the Cinque Terre. He always responded quickly to emails and provided all the information I needed prior to arriving. The room was clean and simple, with every detail considered: the water...

Stayed at Carugio in September 2016. Very clean and comfortable room. Andrea was most helpful and made us feel welcome, he took the time to show us maps of the town and advised on the best places to visit.

We had a lovely stay, made all the better by a very welcoming host Andrea. The rooms are clean. The shower is powerful. Your location is quite central. But best of all is the personal touch of a host who is very helpful and genuinely interested in seeing that you have all the information you need about what there is...
