We spent a week at the Borgo, from where of we made daily trips to the sea or the mountains. Besides the friendly warm welcome of the owners you find "love in detail". They really care for you during your stay, the interior design is as tasteful and subtle as the daily dishes. Just be aware of the cat, sometimes... More

Together with our friends we were spending eight nights in Borgo Floreani. As people living directly in touristic center of Prague, it was one of the greatest holiday we have had so far. With quiet environment, great food from their own garden (Carlo says he is not professional cook but in fact he is), great soups and deserts from Federica,... More

Upon arrival, we were stunned by the beautiful scenery! Unpretentious, warm & welcoming. Would love to return someday! Great place to relax and explore nearby towns. Rooms and property quite charming and very well-kept. Nice breakfast included, and we opted to have dinner there too, which was very good.

The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. Small touches were missing like no bed lamp near single bed which meant i had to get up and cross the room to turn the light off. There were no coffee or tea making facilities but Federica allowed me to use the kitchen to boil water for my morning coffee. There was... More

I spent a few days in the region visiting friends and they booked me at the Borgo Floreani. Didn't know what to expect but it was very nice. Charming rooms and dining area - I felt at home as I was asked to lock up after my guest departed. I would recommend to anyone. This is truly a wonderful place... More

I celebrated my 65th birthday with seventeen of my friends and family from the 29th May to 2nd June and we all stayed at Borgo Floreani dining there every night except for one night. We were joined by further family members on the Sunday night for a party with music performed by a duet organised by Carlo our host. Carlo... More

I don't usually post recommendations for hotels on the internet but here I would like to make an exception: Borgo Floreani, its genuine Friulian charm and especially its owners make your holiday to a true Italian experience! In May 2012 we stayed for the second time here (this time with two small children for two weeks in the red apartment)... More
