We booked the hotel for a family stay for one night. Hotel upgraded us to suites on account of children. Fully equipped with washer/dryer, dishwasher etc. Great choice for a longer stay.

We took a taxi to the hotel when we arrived at the train station and I don't remember it being more than 8-9 Euros to the Continentale. Another day when we walked around the main part of the city we walked between them and it was easy--not more than 15 minutes and flat along the seafront.
We mainly walked and looked at the architecture of the buildings. The real treat (and right in front of the sea) is the Piazza Unita dItalia
